Food For Thought

Postby willie robertson on Tue Apr 24, 2012 9:20 am

Just heard a powerful message from Pastor Joesph Prince. He told of a true story where a minster passed by a tattoo shop and saw a tattoo that said "BORN TO LOSE".

The minister asked the tattoo shop owner, do people really ask for a tattoo that say's born to lose? The shop owner said yes they do. Minister asked, why would anyone want a tattoo on their body that said born to lose?

Shop owner said, "before tattoo put on body, tattoo put on mind,".

Just some food for "thought."

Beware what you allow into your mind.

Those that chose that tattoo are also choosing their reality.

Sad.

Indeed sad that an individual would want to manifest being "Born To Lose" in their life. Whoever would get such a tattoo has some inner issues that need to be worked out. We are ALL born to win!

People do seems to thrive on low self esteem.
Those who do not achieve much in life do not expect much out of life. Self defeating and depression will set in and take over their lives. Like minded individuals think alike.
Our economy may be depressed only to some, but is thriving to others. We don't hear about the latter.

The funny thing to me after reading the comments here is that none of you (including the pastor) ever considered what the person getting the tattoo was "Born To Lose".

For instance, if I were considering that I was born to lose judgement, hatred, taking things personally, unnecessary emotional baggage and the tendency to label things in my mind based on the surface appearance, I'd say that having the idea "Born To Lose" imprinted on my subconscious could be a very good thing.

Now THAT is some food for thought.

The only problem there Dave is you were not born with any of those things to loose. We are all born without guilt, error, hatred, judgement, baggage. We were born to win.

People do need to be careful what they say because out of the mouth the heart speaks and your words will be your fate.
