It is great to have You here at Betternetworker! There is already a big amount of information on this forum about online marketing. So I suggest to first look around to get a taste of it.
Of course the best solution would be to start with a well structured material.
Your upline should offer this to You for free ideally, so I suggest to contact him first.

Online marketing in general is a pretty big topic...
Do You have something specific that You want to know about it? (Website creation, SEO, Copywriting, Social Media Marketing etc.)

You first should get a basic understanding of 1) sales copy 2) lead generation 3) follow up 4) closing the deal.

There are many start up programs to teach you the basic -Hey BNW community which one do you think is the best starter program? I think Dan Kennedy is the best since that is where everyone learned it any ways and he is not only a online guy but he also does stuff offline too.

Online marketing can be daunting for most people.

So my advice would be to learn the basics.

Learn about proper business techniques. Such as providing value (special report, mini video training about the benefits of your product)

Then lead with an offer to those who would want or need your product.

Things you should have are the following...

1.) Capture Page wich would need:
Digital Camera (Kodak Zi8 - Pics can also work)
Web Hosting
Autoresponder

2.) Perfect Customer Research

3.) 1-2 Marketing Methods To Drive Those Perfect Customers To Your Capture Page To Deliver Value.

If you have a competent up-line leader who is online, they should have a system to cut down on the learning curve.

There are also tons of 3rd party services out there that provide you those tools.

Some of these would be:

MLSP
Empowered -Jonathan Budd's System
CCPro
Magnetic Sponsoring
and a few others

Any way you look at it, to save you TONS of time and money, make sure you have an online mentor prior to taking it all on yourself. Take it from me... it could mean all the difference between years of failure and measurable results tomorrow.

I really want to learn the basic first. I'm thinking of learning from Dan Kennedy or magnetic sponsoring to help me learn of the basics. But it could be difficult to me to find a mentor since we are mostly doing our business offline so I only learn a little from my upline about online marketing. I just wanted to learn more and expand my knowledge doing business online (and get more leads and sales) because I think it is really essential today. That is how I found this site. Anyway, I'll do everything I can to learn.
