You, as a network marketer, can get sucked in pretty quickly to a low cost front end funded proposal.
But watch where it is taking you.
To a higher ticketed item and then to an even higher ticketed item until your wallet is empty and you still haven't learned all the ninja tricks the smart internet marketer has up his sleeve.
You'll learn something but there will always be a piece of the puzzle missing.
Watch out for free offers too.
They're not funded proposals (where someone is making money) but they are just as dangerous.
Most will take the focus off your network marketing business and lead you on some wild goose chase where they will not teach you the fundamentals of building a solid MLM.
We're all in business, doesn't it feel just a touch devious when a fellow business owner hides behind the "I'll help you in your business" with the "free" or "funded proposal" when their real motive is to just get you on their list?
There's more and more people who are turning to being an upfront business owner and wide spread "honesty" will win the day.
Just watch.

Joyce, I hear you loud and clear..!
So many times we see these well produced products that promise to be the answer everyone is looking for, yet surprise, surprise you actually need to get Product B at twice the price to make Product A work properly.
Oh, and then there's Product C that you're going to need to really turbocharge your efforts...
Despite some 'experts' claims to the contrary, not all of us are that stupid. Real, constructive, long term marketing will win out in the end.
Thank you for your post...

I have funded proposals but I do not sell info I give away my info so that it highlights the importance of why a person should buy my funded proposal products and my main products.

I totally agree with you, Joyce.
The many programs I have purchased promising the end of all programs and if you don't succeed, we will assist you for another year for free!
That free has already been paid for.
Your success will come when it comes and not any sooner. Try to keep on your goals and never quit.

There is a major difference between buying into the hype of a product and buying products that fit into your business model. There's also a major diffence in having a business plan and knowing exactly what your business model is and not having a plan bouncing from one scheme to another hoping something works.

Re: Funded proposals are not "free" !
I had a teammate one time. He joined me in my primary business ($500 to join, network marketing company).
He then bought my $500 one on one coaching. This is where I take my new team mates by the hand and show them how to do everything step by step.
I show them how to set up their own lead capture pages, how to write their own sales emails, how to sponsor people as easily and quickly as possible.
This particular team mate had a little bit of success (I think he may of brought in 2 or 3 people, something like that) and then I didn't hear from him for a month or two.
So I gave him a call and asked him what was going on.
Well, he had purchased someone else's $2,000 coaching that does exactly what I showed him how to do for him. This coaching built the capture pages and wrote his sales emails. It literally set everything up for him. (all stuff, I easily could have done)
He then stopped promoting my company and started promoting this other gurus opportunity.
Lesson learned.
If you don't offer the expensive stuff, someone else is and someone else will get the sales that you could have gotten.
There are people that want to go a level deeper. They want the $500 coaching. They want the $2,000 coaching.
If you don't offer the premium products, you're leaving money on the table.
The $500 information isn't for everyone. I couldn't teach that to someone for free because they aren't ready for that. They still need to learn basic principles of sales and the internet etc. But there will come a time for every marketer that he/she is ready for $500 information and who am I to say he/she can't have it?
It's not a selfish business model.
In fact, some of the most successful businesses in the world were created this way.
Robert Kiyosaki, Eben Pagan, Frank Kern, Dan Kennedy, Ryan Deiss etc all have premium, high end, expensive products.
(btw I practice what I preach, I've paid $2,000 for online SEO course. My site gets about 25,000 search engine visitors monthly because of it. I've paid $500 for a 2 hour business consultation that caused my first breakthrough with online sales funnels and help me get my first autopilot sale online. I'm thankful that both of these people had these products & services available. A little side note: there are specific neurons in people's brains that fire only when they buy something. So these 2 dudes gave me a super high

Totally agree with Landon. That's one thing that we set up: different levels of coaching depending on the ninja level you want to get to.
No sense finding someone then directing them out the back door to someone else's training.
