Ever hear of entrepreneurship?

I still order products from all of the companies I was once involved with. They haven't gone away.

But that's not where the money was.

That's what makes an entrepreneur - connecting with the company and the team you can hang your hat on that does make you money.

That's what we're all here for, isn't it? To become entrepreneurs? To make money?

And he tells me nobody cares about my company?

It just depends on the context of the conversation.

Many people don't care about your company in this context. They care about their problems if you can provide a solution to their problems and show how your company can provide a solution to their problems.

Exactly !! They have a problem (can't make any money). Solution: They can with mine so the company is extremely important to entrepreneurs.

For me the company is important, because, if I am going to be putting in the time and effort to market that puppy, I need to know I will get paid. I need to know that their is integrity behind the company and the product.

Same goes for marketing an affiliate product.

This crap is hard enough, without getting paid on your effort to build something.

It would also be nice to know that you will have upline and sponsor support.

But if you are a true entrepreneur, you most likely are a self starter and will take some initiative on your own.

Chris I kinda agree, It just depends on the context of the conversation.

Many people don't care about your company in this context. (because there are a gazillion companies out there, although not all companies are created equal.)

People care about their problems and if you can provide a solution to their problems and show them how your company or product can provide a solution to their problems.

The good old, "WIIFM." syndrome. "WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?"

I like something Ray HIdgon teaches and that is, when he talks to a lead he ask, what got you to looking at making extra money or at a business opportunity?

Everybody has a hot button.

Unfortunately, you really do have to be a sales person in the biz opp arena, because you are not only selling a company or product, but you are also selling yourself and why an individual should do business with you as well as your company.
