Hi Greg,

I found this article while reviewing a company whose product I took years ago.

What amazes me is this comment in the article:

Some financial analysts who have contacted Pyramid Scheme Alert for insights into 'MLM' have stated baldly that they privately view the 'MLM industry' as a giant scam, but a very profitable one. So they say they will dutifully invest their clients’ funds in 'MLMs' for as long as the government does not prosecute them and the pyramid does not collapse.

The MLM industry can't win for losing.

Even with all the hell Amway had to go through over the years and they came out on top, people still say the MLM industry is a scam.

Oh well even Christ had his doubters.

BTW my sig file link works, but sometimes it goes to an error page if the site is getting a lot of traffic. It usually can still be accessed from the error page though, by clicking the top click here link.

Thanks.

Yeah it doesn't matter how good you are or what your intentions are, people will only see what they want to see.

As I read through this article the thought that was going through my mind was all the other industries and people in them who rip people off. I have been "sold to" by a doctor that I ended paying $170 to a specialist for something I didn't need, just so the recommending doctor could get her commission.

How about mechanics, car sales, computer technicians etc... and then there is the failure rate in normal business too. It's about the same as MLM.

And then there is the real pyramid scheme that is corporate life... you cannot earn more than the guys at the top.

Anyone who is down on MLM is misinformed.

Have you seen this.. http://youtu.be/zZiw15VgWoI

The SBA says that 96 out of 100 businesses in business today won't be around in 10 years.

It's also true that 90%+ of all realtors never sell ONE house and 90%+ or insurance agents never sell more than one policy (to themselves or mother).

Most diets don't work for most people.

Most people who retire at 65 cannot support themselves.

Most marriages collapse.

The truth is "Most People Don't Finish What they Start." Most people don't get the results they want in business and in life.

In most cases, it's not failure. It's quitting. It's not taking the time to develop the right skill-set and right mind-set it takes to succeed in business and in life: the two things you need to succeed at anything in life.

I'm tired of the haters. This industry is just like everything else in life. A few people work like dogs and rise to the top. Some work hard (but not smart) and get mediocre results. And most do nothing yet claim the program doesn't work!

Enough already!
Best Regards,

Just wondering if presented with the abuses of corporate America, what the blogger would write and present. It's just a matter of people seeing what they want to see. It's hard to convince a blind man that the sky is blue when he knows it's black. Another interesting topic for the blogger might be how the pharmaceutical companies operate and how they are in cahoots with the medical industry. That would be another interesting article I would love to see from the "author"
