Is Pinterest A Fad?

Postby Lynda Cromar on Wed Jun 27, 2012 11:42 am

I am just starting to use it mainly to pin my business in there. I notice that sales pictures actually do the best and lifestyle.

Have you gotten traffic and do you think it is a fad?

I have to say Lynda, I've been wondering the same thing. There's ton of info about it to be found. Just not sure how helpful it is to business.

Pinterest is great, and a very good way to get your images and videos up and shared. See mine Linda. :0) HF

I think with new stuff best to not loose track of what already works, and then cautiously explore other stuff such as this.

Just do your homework Lynda, but Pinterest is growing to become a huge network and they say 75-80% are women on it, but once you see the full ramifications of Pinterest, you will see it is definitely not a fad.

If you were on my One24 or Snackhealthy team I would clue you in in how to use it to full effect, but no offense, anybody not in my group I don't give away valuable info to. I do my research and use my SEO/SEM and SMM and local search marketing skills to help my teams, because I'm building business not to help my competition to build theirs. :0) That's just life and reality, Chaio. I am a firm believer that something out there is better than what we know and are doing. It is a fact because life is full of competition and in that world their is always something better. Someone better at basketball, baseball, stronger, and or taller.

So I am sure there are tools out there better than what we are doing. However there is so much junk out there it is hard to tell sometimes what is better. As Lynda pointed out it is best to not lose track for what already works. It is ok to try new things but if something already works wait until something works better first before you lose track.

As always there is pros and there is cons, but that is what makes for a great discussion!
