What Are You An "Expert" At?

What Are You An "Expert" At?

That thing, that area that you just happen to know all of the awesome little tips,
tweaks, secrets, shortcuts, resources, how-to, what to do, what not to do, etc., etc.

What is it ...
That thing you're great at, that if a friend asked you about it, you could go on and on
about how to "be or do" THAT thing and be awesome at it?

**This is a serious question...
Dont give a one liner like "Im great at seeing through BS.
If you were going to teach this in a classroom full of people that wanted to learn how you do it;
What Would It Be, What are you great at???

PS: Think WIDE...
It doesn't have to be mlm or business oriented, unless that's actually what you're really good at.
It could be a hobby, a time saver, a money saver, parenting, relationships, arts, crafts,
shopping, research, anything - what ever you're truly passionate about.

«game on!»

Don't know if I am expert at it necessarily, but I consider myself the come back kid.

In 1998 after 13 years of marriage my wife and I divorced.

Man did it knock me for a loop and it hurt like hell.

I had been blessed with it all. The wife, two kids, a dog, the house with the white or silver fence, two cars.

We had it going on, although we were in debt like most.

We had good paying jobs and while married, my wife and I had two incomes. She was paid twice per month and I was paid once per month.

I lost it all.

I could have become bitter like many of my friends who went through a divorce. But, I refused to go down like that.

I asked God for forgiveness for screwing up his blessings on me and I rebuilt my life.

I went from a four bedroom home to a one bedroom apartment.

In order to start over again, I bought my furniture from a second hand store and worked two jobs to make ends meet.

5 years to the day The good Lord blessed me to again purchase me a home.

A few years later I was a victim of ID theft and had to file bankruptcy.

Now I have paid down most of my debt and am striving to own my own life through free enterprise and entrepreneur ship.

Been knocked on my A-- a few times in my life, but by god's grace I've always gotten back up and tried again.

I am an expert at life, praise be to God.

Thanks for sharing Willie.

This question definitely isn't about having a Ph.D in any given area.
If you have a knowledge base that could help someone in a similar situation,
in a positive way, then you have something to teach.

And you're right on track...
Thinking outside of the usual circle (mlm/home biz/affiliate stuff).

People tend to default to the idea that they don't have anything valuable they could share in the global community. Especially if they spend a considerable amount of time surrounded by experts in a particular filed.

Example being the home biz community.
Rookies or median level players are always looking to the "experts" and watching them. In that conversation and subject it's easy for someone to feel they "aren't as good" as the expert.

But by widening their thinking, the reality discovered 8x out of 10 is that they actually do have something valuable to contribute. It just requires a little mind massaging to find it.

I think a challenge is recognizing or perhaps accepting our expertise may be outside of the circle we see the other exerts operating in, and some how discount it's intrinsic value.
