There is a term in marketing call usp unique selling proposition in other words what make you different what makes you special.
There are 1,000's of other distributors that are all selling the same stuff. Then you have 1,000's of people who will say I help you to make money.

I have been thinking about this topic lately.
Yes, people have alot of choices so you need to tell them why they should make you their choice.
Here are some of my thoughts on how to make sure you develop an effective UPS.

Here are some of my thoughts on how to make sure you develop an effective UPS.
- You not only need to sus out your unique edge, but then you must remind your audience of it repeatedly. That will help pair you with your unique edge in thier minds.
Before you determine your UPS it is important to understand your audience. To fully comprehend the problems that they want solved. Your UPS should be geared to helping solve their problems. In fact, solving your targeted audiences problems should be the prime motivator in all your interactions with your audience/prospects.
Also, it is important to evaluate what others are doing. One simple way to be unique is not to do what they do. Instant uniqueness.
Also, it is essential to have good proofs. Proof of whatever unique claim you are staking.

I do this based on Abrham Mazlow human needs, he shows that all human no matter age, culture, ect... all have 4 basic human needs.
During the 1920's Edward Bernays used this to sell bacon, cigarets to woman, car, ect... you can find a documentary on him on Youtube.
Be warned this is very, very deep stuff many of you will not be ready for this deep of marketing.

I would say that most people have a unique selling proposition. To be the alternative, I would go for being your friend instead. A friend would give suggestions and have you make a decision on your own as it is presented to them. Making a decision from a friend would go further in buying whatever they are selling and they would stick with it longer because it came from a friend and not by a fly-by night salesman.
