How many people do you expose your business to and actually take them to see the presentation?

On average, I may talk to several people every day. Sometimes the same people. They are getting to know me and I'm getting to know them. I usually show them what has worked for me as my health has improved. So I am in constant contact with basically the same people every day. They can readily see that something is working. When they ask, I can readily tell them the story and lead them in the right direction.
This way you are building trust as well as making friends. They would confide in you and can trust you with some of their health related problems.
Building relationships may take longer, but the people will stay with you longer because you have their trust.

You are still working on your email list. You are also living in the real world. You meet people every day. They get to know you without the computer, cellphone, text message and everything else we communicate with. You meet people face to face. You have to be able to show people that the products you promote really works and it could benefit them as well. One gentleman have been talking to me for the past year now going into two about his health concerns. He'll walk up when other people are present and listen to other people talk about their health concerns. You can continually be friendly to people who don't convert and still give the information for their own good. I still show him how my health has improved even since we met. My BMI is even better than two years ago.
Getting back to the discussion. You talk to people every day, some are the same people. I met a man today who preached about his health. Yes, he preached how he never go to the doctor and is healthy.
When you talk to people every day, you still have to listen and hear what they have to say. Talking to real people gives you a little idea of who you are addressing your messages to while online. While online you can address your idea to one person, but it goes out and catches some interested eye looking for this same information.

How do you know if your message is getting across to the readers online? The only real way of knowing a little of what is going on is to actually get out and find out. Your warm market gives you a gauge of how your online market is thinking. Not everybody communicates the same way. And how do you know that? Get out and find out. Talk to people and get their ideas on how they think even on different subjects. Travel to different places when you are out with your family and talk to a different market and gauge the audience. I am finding out that a lot of my market does not use the computer. When you talk to people have you noticed that they are not on the computer and only talking to one another on the phone? In the real world people are coping with life itself. They are actually working jobs, shopping, providing a service, living daily and even a few utlitlize a computer. Most of your market would be your warm market. Those are also the ones who are able to access a computer to check out your information online. Now you know who you can address your information to online. Now you've branded yourself online! You are known online and the word will spread!

It seems like the question should REALLY be, "of the people one talks to everyday, how many of them are in your target market." Most folks do not want what it takes to be self employed. They SAY they do, but they don't really understand what is involved. Yes, I know, we still need to throw stuff on the wall and see if it sticks, allot like testing Spaghetti to see if it's ready.

So I suppose in THAT case, we are looking for the "Spaghetti People" out of the throngs of daily conversations. yes? :D

Interesting question, because if you are asking how many people do you talk to full stop regardless if you talk to them about business or not, then this could equate to maybe 20 or more people.

If you found a way to turn these conversations round to talking about life in general, what they are doing, how they are faring with the economy, then you can turn the conversation around to you and your business opportunity.

So I guess there is lots of potential out there, its how you approach it really. If we all made a point of talking to just 10 people a day about our opportunity as part of a natural conversation, not a forced one, it would benefit you and your business immensley.

If we don't talk and tell people what we do, then you may well next see them on your own leaderboard under another person! I know because this has happened to me....

Yeah I do believe talking to people on person is better because you get to connect with them, the thing is a lot of people are not willing to get out of their comfort zone and do that.
