Professional MLMer vs. Amatur MLMer

Postby Chris Brown on Wed Jul 04, 2012 8:36 am

The network marketing legend Mark Yarnell talks about about being a professional network marketer. A professional is someone who get paid for something other people do for free - Kim Kardashian gets paid $40,000 to go to a club where everyone else pays to go to the club.

What do professional network marketer do that professional network marketers don't? An amateur network marketer does not want to talk to people so they use safe marketing.

A professional uses methods that will give them the best results for his time. Mark suggest to me a professional to be on the phone 2 hours per day and present your opportunity to 30 people a day.

What do you do that makes you a professional? Please share

Talking to people Chris. It's the only way to build your business.

If you're not doing that, you're not building a successful MLM.

A professional MLMer has built a proven system that works every time. An amatur MLMer has not achieved that level of confidence. They are still trying methods that would suit them and practicing it until it can be perfected.
A professional may only work 2 hours to get 30 customers, while an amatur may have to spend 30 hours to get 2 customers. With trial and error, the amatur will get better just as long that he doesn't quit.

Many people treat their MLM business as a hobby not a business.

Well I would say that a professional networker is a person that earns enough money
working their MLM business or even multiple income streams so that they don't need
to work for someone else. They can earn a self-employed income and enough to meet there
needs. That is what I personally consider my simple definition as a professional MLMer.

That is my personal goal to accomplish for 2012. Weather they spend a couple of
hours on the phone or even all day on the phone or use the internet and online marketing
tools and skills to build their income or a combination, I think the main criteria for a
professional networker vs an amatuer is INCOME !

Thanks

I was blessed today to be on a web cast from a mention in a post earlier in the week by Dave Kotecki.

The webcast is called "Create Revenue Now," with the likes of such speakers, Jay Abraham. Dr. Moine and Eric Lofholm.

My fingers are hurting from trying to write down everything they were teaching.

Just a few things they mentioned with regards to selling, which we do when you get down to it, was the importance of mindset, the use of scripts and NLP techniques.

From what I gathered, students who took training from these people have gone from amateur to professional to multi millionaires.

Willie, PM me and I will tap you into a series that I'm using extensively right now. Free and it continues or goes into more depth than the awesome webcast that Jay, Eric and Dr. Moine are doing right now.
The combination of both is exciting !

I would also love to have more information these programs. I'm new at my business but I have learned most of what is mentioned above re; talking to people. My business actually has daily training provided and they encourage a 3plan, 5plan or 10plan in which you put that many people per day in front of your information and that will turn into that many sign ups per month. They have tested this time and again and it works! The trick is to get that mindset that you will do this and stick with it until you do it on a consistent basis. They also talk about doing at least 4 different types of marketing so you are not putting all eggs in one basket. Many of the high earning people that I learn from continue to try different marketing techniques and learn every day about what is and isn't working for their business. I look forward to being in those ranks and soon!
