Recruiting or product sales what is your game

Postby Chris Brown on Thu Jul 05, 2012 10:33 am

Have you ever gone to a McDonalds and ask for a #5 then they say before I get that for you let me tell you about our wonderful franchise opportunity it will only cost you $1.5M? No they never do that but this what many MLMers do.

Some will not sell you their product until you join their MLM.

Some of the biggest people I know focus most of their time on product sales they still recruit.

Even if you focus on recruiting what do you do to sell your product?

Recruiting will always come first.
If you go to McDonald's and ask for #5, as you say, before they close the sale, they ask you do you want to supersize the fries or drink for a dollar more? That's recruiting you to buy more for increased sales.
On the fun side, if you walk into a similar restaurant (not picking on McDonald's) and put down $1.5 mil. I think you would be talking to the wrong person. The little cashier is just in sales and that is the limit of her training. You would have to go somewhere else with that dollar menu.
We talk to people and fill a need for them. If they are attracted they are recruited. Then the sale would begin to close the deal.
I was recruited for a business opportunity recently. It was later that I found that our busineses was doing the same thing. The sale was not completed.

I believe the FTC requires that for an MLM to be legitimate it should have a certain ratio of customers who only use the product versus distributor recruitment.

I don't remember it word for word, but I read it online somewhere a while back.

As Gomer Pyle was famous for saying, :o :o :o LOL!

Lightyear focuses more on sponsoring people and if they don't feel like the program is the right for them, I ask them to become my customer and save money my eliminated their cell phone bill and this works just fine for us, I have gotten results following this system.
Partner up with a team that has created more leaders and top earners in the whole company

It really depends on the needs and wants of the certain person I am dealing with.

If they want to buy products, I sell them products.
If they want to start a business and make money - I sell them the opportunity.

Bottom line, it depends on them. What they need/want. I tailor it to them.

Some people just wanna consume. Let em have it.
Some people actually wanna step up and be entrepreneurs - there's door for that too.

All I do is show them the doors. They decide which one to walk through.
Sick of Attraction Marketing? Learn how to really make money online the simple way without all the BS and forget about that outdated Attraction Marketing.

I know a guy who is 1 of the top 5 income earners in 7 different companies. One of his companies he sell 5 people per day at $150 per month autoship and only 1% drop out each month that is a strong residual income.

He still does recruit but most of his time is on product sales. He says most people recruit people who should not be recruited. (This his opinion)

What if neither recruiting, nor selling is required? ;)
Profit from your downline, globally. All sectors of goods and services are included. Forget auto-ship, monthly fees, recruiting investors and selling products. Earn from everything that your downline buys. The world of MLM has changed!
