Like the title says.
I am curious to have some of you share what kind of things do you say or how do you handle somebody from another company trying to get you into their downline?
What are the things you say and what are some of your experiences with the same old "My company is better than yours" type of game that some of us may have encountered?
Any experiences both online or offline?
Does anyone just direct them to their lead generation funded proposal or do you counter with your own company info? Or do you talk about leadership or the people in the teams? Or do you tell other stories in general?
What are some of the things you've encountered?
Whether or not you want to mention actual company names in this thread - that's up to you. I don't mind either.

Re: What Do You Say To Someone From Another Company?
I had one company email me on a great opportunity. It did picque my interest so I clicked on the link. They sent me a lot of information and videos but never told me what they did. I did get a raised eyebrow on how to do this business opportunity on a shoestring budget. All this I never knew the name of the company or what they did to interest me to join them in business.
An appointment was set up and I talked to a nice lady. She finally told me just listen to the videos and audios and she would get back with me the next day. The audios did not say much and the videos begin to mention the company and what they did.
In the meantime I was sent a 'business get started' package in the mail. At the appointment, I told the nice lady that her opportunity was very nice but it would be a great conflict to join at this time.
I'd met another lady during a demonstration and checked her information. Healthwise I could not do her business because of the stress it would put on the body. The health industry even says it is not safe to push your vital organs together to the point of them improperly functioning.
But I did offer both of them my opportunity for them to check out as well. I have doing mine much longer!

Rejoice ! You've found a fellow business owner. Ask questions, listen to the answers, share your own experience, drop the agenda to "recruit" them into your business.
If they are on the way to being a professional you will have a great conversation ! If not, it's OK as long as you are moving forward.
Take control of the conversation and let them talk and chances are they will talk themselves past the lies and admit they aren't making a penny.

I agree with Joyce.
Turn the table and ask them questions about themselves how they are using MLM to change their lives. Have a conversation and listen without trying to recruit them in return. Now if they don't stop trying to recruit you gently say I am not interested.

We've all been trained on when a person says 'No' and we have a response to follow up. Sometimes you have to agree with them, let them have their say. You can give a reason why you have to decline their generous offer and stay with the affliate company you are with. You are two business people that happen to meet in the middle of the road. You can part as friends and build a new relationship and respect for another business.

Yes Like that idea to ask questions and discover what they or aren't doing. You can develop a great business friendship this is always helpful.
It's really funny how things work out that's why it's always great to have the right mind set this is one of the most important things as you grow your business.
That mind set is the best and it really helps your business grow. So set it on fire and keep those relationships building.
