I Don't Have Time To Build My Business...

Postby Erika Samperio Solares on Sun Jul 15, 2012 11:21 pm

It is said that you can build your business part time, full time but not spare time. You need to have specific hours for you to work on it that fits your everyday schedule. If you think you can build your business spare time you will never find the time to work. Like me I make calls for 2 hours every morning at 11:00am- 1:00pm from Monday to Friday and do not put the phone down until I finish those 2 hours. For those who have a really tight schedule you can work on it 15 min. in the morning, 15 min. during lunch, 15 min. during break and 30 min. when you get out of work but make that a consistent schedule.

According to Brian Tracy he found some research that said the average person watch 5 hours a TV per day. Cut back on some of your TV watching.

I used to work for a company and 1 of my clients spend $13,000 he only worked his business 30 min per week and watch 6 hours of TV each night.

I have another guy who owns a insurance company he has been struggling for years he spend more hours watching TV than he does working and is unwilling to change.

Chris so they were not building their business because they were "too busy" to build their business?

People who are the most busy take time to build their business.

Thanks for this post.
I try to be the 'come to' person for information. Any one wants information on anything, they usually come to me and I would usually have an answer to help them most of the time within a week.
One lady told me about getting additional classes in school. I hooked her up with a tutor to prepare her for the test. It helped her to get a better grade on a difficult subject.
Another lady wanted to go into tour guide business. I directed her to the right people for that information so she would not have to work for somebody else for that experience.
And when they come to question about their health, I direct them to my site to check out and see for themselves the benefits that I am using as well.
So, I am constantly building my business all the time. Showing people what they want and how to get it. Putting people in business for themselves and showing it can be done easier than what they were doing.

The key is to work in chunks of time that YOU feel comfortable with. Yea, you need to stay on track and stuff, but you can't just work and work until you're burnt out. The key is moderation...enough effort, but enough time to reflect and re-assess and stuff like that :)

perfect, time management is must and have to be followed to make your business grow. We often take it very lightly that things will improve and good time will come. This is something that people must follow to create his/her own management of the business.

I feel people need at least 1 hour each and every day to build on their businesses. In my experience if you treat your business like a hobby it will reward you like one!
I commit to working between 6am-8am each and every day whilst my little one is asleep, so I have the full day ahead of me. I then pick up again for an hour in the evening, it's sooo important to have a daily schedule and to cut out distractions such as FB, twitter and emails!
Kind Regards,

Hi Jayne..I do the same thing I work an hour at 11am and again in the afternoon at 5pm 5 days a week.
I am just curious I have been wanting to start earlier around 8am do people actually pick up or is it too early? I want to know from your experience.

Hi Erika,
It is my daily marketing I do between 6-8am, I tend to sructure my calls/skype within a 1hr window generally between 2 - 3pm during the day and my hour in the evening for planning for the next day/training/webinar. I hope this clarifies! I find if I don't really structure my days, I tend to drift and my days become unproductive!
Kind Regards,
