I use to feel bad about recruiting someone and then they fail out of the business and did not do a thing.
I was talking with a expert in the fitness industry who owns a number of gyms. He said gyms count on 90% of people being lazy. The average gym will over sell their gym by 1500% some gyms do it by 3600% know that only 10% will show up.
The fitness industry makes money by counting on people being lazy in fact they make more money if they are lazy. One guy I know of spends $90 per month for his gym membership and has only gone 2 time in the last 12 months that is $540 per work out.
Do people call it a scam because he did not show up at the gym? No!
This expert said the average person drops out in 68 days but the motivated 10% mess up those number the real number are really 10%. The real number is like 20 days.
But he said the Life Time Value of a customer is $1,500. Even though they don't do anything.
As internet, direct response, or network marketers we should have the same mind set. What do you think please share?

I knew there was a huge drop out rate in affiliate marketing but I didn't realize it was as low as 20 days. That's why I always get a chuckle out of affiliates who talk about residual income. You always have to be in sales mode because of those very stats.
Cool stuff Chris.

Most of the people I've signed up are either very lazy and give up, or just don't take the time to really learn the business. Most of them are like dead weight. You pretty much have to come to expect that and yea, no point in feeling bad when they quit

No don't feel bad, it is impossible for other people to get excited about working to help you achieve your goals. People have to want it for themselves. It amazes me when people think they can touch a few buttons and money will pour out of their pc!
I find when people reach a pivotal moment in their lives that is the time for action, consistent action that leads to results and success.
I think of that little saying
"you can take a horse to water but you cannot make it drink!"
Kind Regards,

That truly is an interesting and inspirational fact. We spend our money, time and effort to get people to join, only knowingly they will drop out eventually. This is why we always have to recruit and replace those numbers constantly.
It is hard to feel nonemotional when someone joins you, while still others are dropping out for other interests. Constant recruiting becomes a way of life.
No one has ever told me that they did not like the product they purchased or it did not work as it said it would. But they did stay on it and tried it for it to work and they saw improvement in their health, then quit! I don't feel bad any more because I had accomplished my goal.

Even in traditional business about 10% will stop using the product the same is true if we focus on product sales I figured out I do about $2000 per yer per customer on product sales of course I still recruit too.
