Traffic Formula 2.0 Lets see those Nerve Centers

Postby Randolph Francis on Mon Aug 17, 2009 4:00 pm

Hey guys Randy Francis here. I am currently in the Traffic Formula 2.0 course and I must say I hope it changes my life the way I have read it has changed so many others. Anyway I would love to see what other people are doing for the Nerve Center. Here is mine http://www.MakeMyOwnFuture.com still working on it trying to get some things cleaned up. Tell me what ya think so far. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My product that I am giving away is being worked on right now, so hopefully it will be done before this class ends. So if you fill out the form, you will get nothing. :D .

Learning so much

I like your design so far. You are a lot farther along than I am. Did you pay some one to design your header and your opt-in?

You say your give away is in the works, my question is this... If I am new and little expirience in the internet marketing business how do I come up with something to give away of any value. Where do you find decent material with some value that gives someone reason to opt-in?

I think it is a strong start Randy. Design and layout looks solid.

The only thing I am wondering about is the branding side of things.

Who is your target market?

"Make My Own Future" is very broad and general.
I don't know, if you are deciding not to go with the "yourname.com" approach, I would like to see more of a hook.

I see you have the whole Butler thing going -- so that suggests the working class, right? Or maybe I am off.

BTW, you don't have to answer any of these questions here. They are more for you to answer for yourself.

As I create my own nerve center, I am going to go for more of a sub-niche. I don't want to mention it here. I may when I am ready.

In essence, as far as branding goes, I am looking for what most people are NOT doing - to make myself stand out. But keep this on the down low. Let's keep this mindset between us. ;)

I think your site looks great except the one question you need to answer for yourself is "Are you trying to rank on the search engines" if so im not sure your "Make Your Own Future" gets alot of searches. Generally speaking you want to include your keywords in your title. It will help with ranking.

Hey thanks for all the feedback. As for the free give away, when traffic formula 2.0 was starting I knew allot of people would be offering freebies if you signed up through their link. SO I looked for someone who had a free product offering where they would create a product for me if I signed up through their link. I researched them online and saw they were very good at it so I killed two birds with one stone, I was going to sign up anyway.

I am going for the common man, most of us are not making the 6-7 figures "YET" so their who I am going after. As for the name of my site, in my understanding it does not really matter with a blog, you are entering so much content and if you choose a good topic the search engines will find it. I have another blog that I was working on before I started the class and I have been making post on my experience with TF2.0. Now the blog post is "Traffic Formula 2.0 my experience" although pretty new I see a few hundred unique people have already read through it. On a static site I think it makes a different, but in a blog type of a site I think your content is whats going to get you out there.

You SEO guys on here and let me know if my assumptions are correct.

And yes I do have someone working on my design. Its fairly cheap if you know what you want and where to look. I chose elance.com and found a design group located in india that does good work. They did another site for me called www.Icleanse2LoseWeight.com. Check it out, or just pay for a unique blog. Either way its the experience and what you do in the future that matters. Keep ya head up and we may be the next success story.

Hey Randy,

I really don't know just how you will take my opinion of your beginning site, but for ME and ME only, the color does not fit too well. That may be a little trivial, but that is just MY opinion. Personally, I would try some other colors. . . . . red especially. Anyway that is my take. I am sure it WILL look GREAT when you are finished and I will be looking forward to taking a look at it.

Best of luck,

Hi Randy,
I think the design looks really good and clean at the same time. Congratulations on taking action and getting something done right away. It will be interesting to see some content on there so we can see how the domain name and niche all ties together. But I do agree with you that a domain name can offer some assistance, but if the content is there and tagged properly, interlaced with keywords throughout the content, the traffic will come.

Here is mine http://AttractSponsorSucceed.com

Started with the thesis theme and now using Flexibility 2. Fantastic theme, makes settings for color and format extremely easy. The site works great in chrome and firefox, just have to make some adjustments for IE, (imagine that  ).

Cameron,
you bring up a good point and something that I was torn with for a long time, actually still kind of torn about it. Whether to brand AttractSponsorSucceed.com or my name.com. Any ideas or comments that you guys have with one versus the other would be appreciated.

I agree with Randy, let's see some more nerve centers. Remember, a rising tide raises all ships. Let's go!
Have you ever see one of these? This is predicted to be bigger than the internet and cell phone boom combined!!

Hello everyone,

Got to say, you guys have some good looking nerve centers. Are you using them as your main page now, when you advertise. Here's my site: http://askdanjohnson.com, tell me what you think. Looking for some ideas. Also having a problem on the right side going out of bounds, so to speak. Anyone know how to fix that? Help is appreciated on that one. I can't find the answer any where in the setup area.

Just my 2 cents here. :-)
