Were You Disappointed When You Got Your BOAB book?

Postby Adam Holland on Thu Mar 06, 2008 5:19 pm

I was one of those people EAGERLY waiting for this to come out.. I was that guy waiting for the minute hand on my clock to turn to the time when BOAB launched...

With uncontainable excitement, I reached for my credit card and purchased BOAB and got it in the mail but a few days later..

I tore the Fedex packaging off and dove right into the material..

I flipped through the book just to see what kind of new marketing Mike was going to unleash in this new course! And it dawned on me... I was ALREADY doing most of what he was suggesting! Immediately that negative, disappointed voice in me started saying "Oh no! You just spent MORE money on something that you already knew!"

But something inside me said, "Well, Adam, you bought it! Just read the darn thing at least, and if you're disappointed either throw it out or add it to the library of other training materials that you poured countless wasted dollars into.."

So I read it...

And when I finished I wanted to slap myself in the face for even doubting Mike's knowledge and ability to teach one bit.

I mean, there were some things that I thought I already knew about, by Mike goes over example after example. He goes over how to lay each piece of the puzzle, and how to mortar each brick one-by-one in to a successful marketing campaign... using the most cost-effective and results-driven methods.

But did I feel like a total arse..

I thought "Oh, I already use that" or "I tried that and it didn't work"...

Well Mike provides a step-by-step HOW TO guide for every section.. starting right from scratch to how to GET RESULTS.. and I learned how to step up my game in some areas, and why I miserably FAILED in others.

If you got this course and feel disappointed, I suggest reading it AGAIN and whether or not you like what Mike says or not... just DO IT! Implement what he's talking about and watch the traffic, optins, and money flow..

THANK YOU MIKE and I'm looking forward to the new courses coming out soon too!

That why it is so necessary to read new information at least a
second and third time. Even if at first you think it is just a new
take on rehashed information.

Your first reading will probably be a little biased because in the
back of your mind you are telling yourself you already know this.

As you calm dawn and just read the material for the second and
third time you will see it different then the first time you read it.

That is when you really start to absorb the information.

Good post Adam.

Hey Adam,

Who taught you how to write copy?

How dare you suck me into your forum post like a hoover?!?!

;) j/k

I got nuggets out of his course too, Adam.

Just the resources he mentions is worth gold,
because looking for that type of stuff takes time.

Plus, it provides you a detailed check list of things
to do, which you may already be familiar with, but
I bet very few have implemented.

For example, the chapter on Blogs is superb.

Some of you may have blogs and trying to use it to
market, but I guarantee you, you aren't implementing
all the things Mike says you should do.

And also, if you're a newbie and have never done
any internet marketing, your head is going to
explode with knowledge, which took me a few
months to attain.

i must admit i'm a bit sad that the discounted price is going to expire before my copy arrives! it would be nice if there was enough time to promote the discounted price too but i'm sure the normal price is well worth it too.

Ah, Jim.

Take it from me dude.

It's good!!

Will personal endorsements encourage you to promote it?

Help me help you, Jim!

I must admit, before I promoted to my list, Mike told
me what it was going to contain.

Also, the Traffic Call for less than $500 bonus mp3 is well worth
the price in and of itself.

That mp3 has information on using eBay, which is literally
getting paid to market.

That mp3 will not be available after tonight.

Your people need to know. Spread the word.

peace,

It's funny you say that, because I just wrote a new forum post about Copywriting Resources...

Well, I hate to be the downer here, but I thought it wasn't that good.

I'm glad I didn't pay full price, it was good, but it was not as good as the Mag Sponsoring.

Sometimes I wonder what gives something value in the eyes
of the customer.

Ray and I, with our system, basically used the exact
techniques being taught in BOAB to grow
attractionmarketingformula.com

We went through a lot of ebooks, seminars and training,
to eventually discover that it's the simple things
that make the difference.

The way I've done adwords worked before and it works now.
There's no new magic to it.

The way I've done article marketing, is exactly how
Traffic Formula and BOAB explains it. Nothing has changed.

The way I've done Craigslist marketing, is the same
as before.

In a market, which promises you the next internet marketing
"magic trick", the fundamentals are the same.

The only difference is whether or not you choose to take
action. I guarantee, that if you take action with
what BOAB, MS and Traffic Formula teach, you will have
results... but action is required.

The value in BOAB is there ten-fold once you add action.

"Just Add Action" should be Mike's new course, because
it's what 99% of the people in this industry fail to do.

So if BOAB or any other MS course, doesn't impress you,
then implement the techniques with full resolve and
then watch the magic happen.

I'm still shocked that so very few people ever do
what Mike teaches. Most read the courses, give a
review and put it on the shelf.

These courses aren't created to entertain you, then
be put on a shelf next to your Stephen King novel.

Putting something on the shelf might add value to wine,
but certainly not to your business. If your MS or
Traffic Formula course is not torn up with ragged
edges and yellow highlighter, then you're not working
hard enough.

If you don't have a capture page up within 2 weeks
of reading Traffic Formula, you're not working hard
enough.

If you're still sending traffic to your MLM
replicated site, you're doing it wrong.

This industry is here for the taking, because less
than 1% of the people will ever take the action
necessary to succeed, even when they have all the
information they need.

If you're someone who takes action, it will be like
taking candy from a baby.

I sort of felt the same way the first time I read Building on A Budget, but the longer I read it the better I felt because Mike's course re-inforced for me that I was doing the right things.

web 2.0 has been my saving grace. I've made $3748 in one week doing web 2.0 marketing before I read BOAB. I also picked up a few new places to advertise free in BOAB that I hadn't previously used.

Great value in this course even though I had already been using most of the same stuff.

BOAB rocked!
