Craigs List Info
Just wanted to let everyone know that at Western Slope Colorado Craigs List when you go to post a job that they DO NOT ALLOW MLM OR BIZ OP ADS! I don't know if that is true about the rest of the world though. Otherwise I thought BOAB is great! I am looking foreward to implementing the press release and blogs! Once I get these mastered, I intend to use my MS and Traffic Formula to train my newly aquired downline how to do the biz "right from the start" WITHOUT buying leads! Many Thanks Mike for showing all of us a better way AND how to DO it!

Re:Craigs List Info
The great thing about Craigslist is that when people google search for the keywords that you contain in your craigslist ad it doesn't doesn't matter where the person is from it will show up on the search.
So post everywhere besides that area in Colorado and your results will still be fantastic.
I have been going through and posting unique ads in each main market in the US for the last week and a half since I received the book and I am seeing my ads show up in google already.
It is fantastic to be able to pass these fantastic and easy to implement tools and tactics on to our downline.
Enjoy!

Just a thought.... why let them know its an MLM in your add? My adds just send interested parties to my capture page. I'll let them decide if a MLM is what they are looking for.

I use mlm because I want to attract other networkers to my info and build A relationship with Them. Then I attract them to my mlm biz.

Re:Craigs List Info
I'd like to here what kind of results folks have had with Craigslist ads.
I started posting last Saturday the 8th and I've generated 3 free leads out of 5 hits to my site. Limited success thus far, but free leads nonetheless.
It will take 30 to 90 days of consistent work on this to master it, but it's a whole lot cheaper than buying leads myself.
Several keys for those new to this.
1. make sure to include your keyword in your ad (otherwise it won't show up on the search engines)
2. don't forget to provide a call to action (for free instant access click here: then your url)
3. make sure to add http:// before your website so that there is a link in the ad
Happy Craigslisting!

I Agree with Larry C -
You don't need to let everyone know what your business is in the headline of the ad. What's the point? You want people to be curious about your ad so they will click to open it.
Whether you are posting on Craigslist or some other free site, the headline is for one thing...and that is to get people to read your ads. A great headline works 100% of the time to get the attention of the reader.
Here's an example of bad ad headlines I see everyday... using ad headlines like these will never get your ad opened regardless of where you are posting.
1. Are you looking for a home based business that will make you real money? - Boring and where is the urgency to click on that
2. Be your own Boss - Here's how to make this better - I quit my Job and My Boss Paid ME and Begged Me to Join See Why
3. earn money with your website - can it get any more boring and vague
Following are some ad headlines that I use frequently and get alot of response from:
1. Could $250,000 Change Your Life?
2. Making Millionaires You in?
3. 100,000 Executive Income-Taking Applications Now
4. Internet Failures are earning $20K their first month
5. Top Income Earner Looking to work 1 on 1
The company I work with has free Craigslist training every week. If interested, I can give you the schedule.

Re:Craigs List Info
Thanks for all the responses. I was not looking for a how to, but rather trying to inform people that if they posted mlm ads or ads to recruit for an mlm then they would be breaking the aggrement with craigs list, not exactly a good way to influence people.

Re:Craigs List Info
Most definitely, I agree, you weren't looking for a how to. I just thought the conversation kind of went along that way and folks started going in another direction.
Hope that's OK.
I appreciated Larry's and Tina's ideas on building out the Craigslist ads. There's no one right way to do a CL ad. Only different ways to pull more results, etc. I do think that obtuse and vague numbers don't pull as well as actual numbers.
Tina mentions "Could $250,000 Change Your Life?" and "Internet Failures are earning $20K their first month" Get specific in these numbers. It makes it seem like you are making it up. It would be better to say, Find Out How Internet Failure Earns $19,545 In 22 Days With ____________. When you are specific with amount it comes across as geniune. Of course when you do the specific amounts be honest about it.
Just my 2 cents. I don't think the round numbers are wrong, but it might pull better with an exact figure and the exact timeline fully written out.

Re:Craigs List Info
Great information everyone. Jason I think either way works great, regarding the earning figures. Since most people look at $19,545 as really $20K.
