Do Not Sell. Stick to the point in your ad and get the prospects attention by building a relationship with them and keeping their attention until they take action.

Give people something of value. Something they can use to help them grow. Another thing I would do is stay persistent. Make a schedule of things to do and stick to it. The more you get your site out there the more people will see it. I would also try not selling your product or business. Everyone does that and it gets kinda repetitive. If you give guidance people will want to follow you.

Re: What is your best advice on Marketing your Business online?
By FAR, the best advise is to market your YOU Inc.
When you provide "Value" on the front-end, and "Business Opportunity" on the back-end, not only will you get more qualified prospects, but you will begin to become recognized as a reputable source, a LEADER in the industry.
The "Value" you provide needs to assist your target audience in avoiding pain but satisfying pleasure. i.e. You offer a Debt Relief Program and your target audience are deep in debt prospects. Your program helps them avoid the pain of being in debt, and offers them satisfaction by getting out of debt.
This is how you provide "Value" the right way.
If you want to see your business grow and generate you more cash, then you can't go wrong if you're marketing your YOU Inc. the right way.

Describe in detail, exactly what you want your business to look like in 18 months.
Reverse engineer exactly what it will take to accomplish that - Be Specific!
Identify quarterly milestones - 3mo, 6mo, 9mo, 12mo, 15mo, 18mo and what you will achieve by that time.
Find three strategies (daily action items) that you can allocate 4 hours per day to and complete them every day.
Anyone that is unable to allocate at least 20 hours per week to building their business should not expect any significant results.
These daily action items should meet the needs of the areas you identified for your milestones. Spending 3 hours a day organizing your office and 1 hour on Facebook won't cut it. Each action should accomplish something that moves you closer to completing each milestone. ie.. GET PAID!
Pick a start date for your plan - like yesterday would be a good place to start - and do those action items every single day, without fail. Even if you have to work from 10pm-2am 7 days a week - JUST DO IT!
Analyze your results as you reach each milestone. This is important! Don't ever waste time analyzing your results until you have results to analyze. By the time you hit your first milestone at 3 months you should have some pretty good data to look at. Make necessary adjustments and keep going. Until then, keep your head down and work your butt off to reach the milestone.
I can't stress this enough - IF you want real results - You Must Be Relentless!
As you begin to see results you should find that the time it takes to get your tasks completed for each of the 3 strategies decreases. Either continue to do them yourself, focusing on doing them faster or outsource some of the tasks. What you are aiming for here is freeing up about an hour of your 4 hour workload to use for followup with leads, customers and team members.
By the time you hit the 9 month milestone you'll probably need to outsource 90%, in order to use most of your time for followup.
Here's an example of daily action steps you can do:
Youtube: (45 min) create 1 video, add 40-50 friends, comment on 5-10 videos.
Blog: (30 mins) Write a post about your video, embed your Youtube video into the post, convert that post into an article, implement as part of your Article strategy.
Articles: (1 hour) write 3-5 articles, submit to top article sites.
FaceBook: (30 min) add 30-40 friends, comment on 5-10 friends.
BackLinks: (1 hour) 30-40 to money site, 15-20 to Twitter, Myspace, Squidoo, Forum profiles, etc.
Forums: (30 mins) Find 3-4 forums that fit your niche market, reply to 2 threads on ea., start 2 new threads on ea.
Twitter: (30 min) add 100 friends, Tweet 7-10x throughout the day (Tweet about & link to, everything you did that day - your articles, blog post, Myspace blog, invite to connect on Facebook, etc.)
Pick and choose what best fits your personality.
If you don't like Facebook use Myspace. If you like LinkedIn, use that. My strong recommendation is that you have a cycle that looks something like this no matter which web 2.0 properties and media outlets you choose.

Roger,
Its been a while since I've seen such blatantly obvious pitching for an affiliate sale on here.
Let me know if anyone buys from you.

Re: What is your best advice on Marketing your Business online?
Hi
When You Have The Vision Build Your Prospecting Process System
1. Have your own prospect system. Now, you can easily learn and have a page up, with your own opt in form. Making sure, you provide a valuable gift to your audience you are want to attract.
Of course, by knowing exactly what their immediate needs are, you can create that one page which we call a lead capture page that provides specific, tailored solution, they are HUNGRY for and immediately want!
You can even have a blog, in which you have a download of an ebook providing the valuable information. They download and if they serious and want more, they'll click on a link in one of the pages and go to your lead capture page to get more info.
Do not second guess but Test and keep testing..
You can tighten this up with the message, headline and the details as well in your ebook, so you get quality leads. Many are afraid to be themselves and just attract anybody but you don't want just anybody but people who are serious.
You'll need to test it out, see which headline works best, which video, everything. Let it be a time in which you learn how it's done. Only way is to learn and do.
2. When they have opted in to your capture page, recieving the free valuable specific information.
A Process To Converting Prospects To Paying Customers
Pick up the phone and call them. Not to pitch but to first find out they recieved the information. To also know what else they immediately need, if they are in a business. You can tailor the question.
I'm sure there are great people here who will give you advise on this.
Invest In Knowledge And Value, Mentorship Because..
This is where you need to learn some more skills, conversion but for now, build relationships, they will convert if done right and if they are targeted hungry audience.
Find out more on what they immediately want, let them talk, show them your leadership but also teach them the next action to take. You'll need to guide them and don't be afraid to do so.
Social Network With Your Existing Prospects Online
3. You can also with these EXISTING prospects, move them to your social sites, e.g. your home like your hub. Which we call a blog.
They see more of you. More of your content, more of your story, getting to know you and you get to know them. Also, the call of action is there again for those who have not taken the step or want more information and serious.
Consistent High Tech and High Touch Relationship, Communication
In between, you would have sorted your autoresponder out, to deliver weekly content that is focused to your prospects needs. Keeping it really specific.
They goal is to also build that relationship and step by step, lead them to the solution. Get to know your audience.
Be original in your email articles. Use your story, use your experience, your life to relate to your audience.
The Crunch....Know Exactly What Your Prospects Immediate Needs Are
I know there's so much I can say here and I know a lot is missed out but I am revealing three things here..
A) You lead with knowing who your prospects are and exactly what their immediate needs are - and provide the value they hungry for.
Until you figure this one out, everything else is second guessing.
You didn't social network first like most do
You first created a marketing strategy, knowing how each step works and THEN you social networked with your existing prospects.
This helps you to focus your time and energy on those who do follow you, who have opted in, who have made a decision and they can network with you....where you are at and in control..
Your Blog
Your Twitter
These are powerful tool not just for branding. They are powerful tools to educate more, to engage your existing prospects and for them to step into your home and walk away feeling damn good and know, you got the stuff.
So sit down first, get a piece of paper. Map out exactly what you want your business to do, where do you want it to, how much you want to make. Now, that you know, work backwards and then create a marketing strategy blue print on paper.
And begin to build.
b]Joint Ventures[/b]
And build relationships for future Joint Ventures, which enable to create social buzz about your work, the help there to support your articles, and it's a win-win situation.
Lean From Others By Experiencing It
I would advise, to opt into leaders who have value, and see how they do it. Follow their process, study their stages, see how they do it. See what works for you, what makes you feel good inside and not fake, and a blatant pitcher.
That's what I did and studied each stage to later learn more.

Hey Richard Bravo,
Some great advice for anyone. I can see now where this particle topic is going to be very "hot"!
One thing that I am quite curious about is just when are you able to take some time for YOU, Richard?
Great info!
Thanks,
Tom Leighton

LOL - well Tom honestly, there's not much room for "me" time right now. It's one of my imbalances in life. My average work week is 6 days a week / 80-85 hours. That's just me. But there is a price to pay and I don't recommend it. Anyone who does, has to make that kind of choice on their own.
My example of 20 hour a week is just from personal experience and people may find great success working 10 hours a week. The point really was just to hammer a work principle and emphasize that results are a direct reflection of action. But as for exact quantity of hours per week, it really boils down to how productive you are with the time you have and the quality of your results you derive from that time.
Caveat: I do stop for the occasional mojito, Ashton double magnum and 9 holes to refocus.
