[Nick Klopper Company: Numis Network Contribution Level: 2]

Hey everyone,

I would like to thank you in advance for the help. Here's my problem.

I made a blog post and published it with the the url as follows: http://www.nickklopper.com/mlm-training ... nal-brand/

Then I decided that I wanted to change the name of the title to include the word "creating" so I changed the title and then changed the slug using Wordpresses editing function to change the slug. I changed it to: http://www.nickklopper.com/mlm-training ... nal-brand/

I thought that should work out fine as I was changing the destination url. I knew I would get some crawl error saying that the page couldn't be found. I am ok with that.

The problem is that when I try to go to the root url: http://www.nickklopper.com it gets redirected to http://www.nickklopper.com/mlm-training ... nal-brand/ (the old url without the word "creating") So then my homepage say "Sorry, no posts matched your criteria".

I have know idea how to fix this. I put in a redirect at Host Gator to redirect the old slug to my root url. I don't know if that will fix it or not, or if there is something else I need to do to rectify the situation.

I figured it out. Don't know why it happened but somehow my root url was being forwarded to this dead page using the Redirection plugin. I just had to delete that redirect and everything was fine.
