Hi,
I would like to create an online poll for my subscribers, with multiple choice answers.
Or is there a better alternative that incorporates the poll into the email, avoiding the need for the reader to click through to a webpage?
I would like tips for how to do it either way, and recommendations for free scripts etc? I use Dreamweaver and AWeber.
Thank you!

Re: Creating an online poll
Hi. One easy way would be to use an online service. You can search google for terms like "online poll for my website" but http://pollcode.com/ is a good one that should work with your website. Another option would be to install a plugin for your WordPress blog.

Re: Creating an online poll
On the cheap end of the world a great way to do a poll is using Google Docs and using a form. This way it's simply just a link that you could send out to people. It's a cost effective way of polling people where the results go directly into a spreadsheet.
Of course there's always http://SurveyMonkey.com and I believe you can have several polls in the free account.
Depending on what email marketing service you're using will also determine which has polling. MailChimp integrates with Survey Monkey and iContact has their own polling built into their services.
It all depends on what your budget it, but nothing is there to break the bank account. Most of the services out there range from free to $15.
If you're still trying to figure things out then message me on my profile.
Cheers!

Re: Creating an online poll
without a doubt, survey monkey.
it is the only one i use, and it's free.
You can of course upgrade, but that isn't necessary for creating a simple poll.
after creating it, you can add it to an e-mail to send to your list, share it on Facebook, or create a pop-over version of it for your blog or website that you own.

For all my polls I use http://www.websurveymaster.com/ I like it a lot more than Survey monkey. It's easy to use, the polls look really professional and the result analysis tools are great.
Hope this helps
