I am looking for input on what hosts others are using. I am looking
into VPS hosting or maybe a dedicated server. Any input would be

Hey Travis, I use HostGator for all of my websites and love it! Their Control Panel and Fantastico installer are easy to use to setup my Wordpress blogs. Web site load times are great.

I use Wiredtree's VPS and I am satisfied with them. They have excellent support. I never had to wait more then 10 minutes for reply. And you can call them, too.

I use HostGator as well. Their customer service is outstanding. I have never had better service anywhere and I have been on the internet with different hosts for the past 10 years. You can't go wrong with HostGator.

Hi Travis,

I started using Bluehost years ago when I first started putting my own websites on the net and I have had no complains whatsoever, everytime I've needed technical support (which hasn't been many times anyways) their techs are very knowledgeable and their customer service is outstanding.

On the other hand I lately got involved with GVO and besides the fact that it is an excellent web hosting company as well, it comes with some benefits you won't get with any regular hosting company:

1.- Offers the added benefit of an MLM company attached to it, meaning that you can also make money with your web hosting... and

2.- Offers all the tools that you need to market online under one roof

I vote for Hostgator! They are here to stay and their main business is web hosting. I started out with them and graduated up to a reseller account. Their customer service is awesome!

I would be very careful about getting involved with a web host that is also an MLM. A couple of years ago, I signed up with a company called MLM Toolkit. They offered free hosting for a year, free domain, etc but it turned out that they had some shake-ups and as a result, my blog was offline for a month. They had sold off the hosting company and I couldn't contact anyone with the company anymore so I could change hosting companies. Web hosting is nothing to play around with; there's too much at stake.
