Assigning posts to a specific page

Postby on Tue Jun 18, 2013 7:31 pm

Hi Guys

we all know how to have posts appear on the front page. I am working on a website at the moment for a friend of mine, where the front page is just a slider and I have page names at the top. Now I want to have a page named blog and assign all the posts to appear on that page only rather than the traditional front page approach. Hope you guys will have an insight for me. http://www.deekaphayoga.com. this is the site if you want to know what I mean. I will deeply appreciate your guidance and support.

Not sure if you got this figured out yet. But all you need to do is create a page and call it Blog or Articles or whatever you want.

Then go into your settings menu, click on reading...then right below where you initially set the frontpage...there is another dropdown where you can choose that page that you named either Blog or Articles to be the Posts Page.

Hi Wayne

I did try that. But I think it was something to do with the theme I selected. It didn't work. But thanks for the tip
