With the presidential election just around the country, we are asking ourselves who will be the next leader of our country? Who will be the right choice and who will prove to be the best guide into the future?

As a mom, wife, and a network marketing professional, I feel it is my responsibility to design my future. I'm not relying on the next President, the government or anyone else to secure my journey.

By having a plan and taking consistent action each day, we can all blaze a trail for our future.

.....You are certainly right, no president or government will determine my success. (notice I said success) Do you think you can point me to the Robert Kiyosaki Prediction? I would GREATLY appreciate....I love listening to him....

And as far as a choice......I like Obama,i do....buuuut....lol....I'll just say he is good at what he does. And McCain seems too freakin nervous to be president. He always looks uncomfortable. But regardless, WE are regular outside people, who have to create our own path. The path that WE have to follow. (not the path they politic will be built)

Great comments. I recently posted an article of similar nature - commenting something I heard - the same political winds blow on us all. The only difference between succses and failure is how you set your sails.

Great info. One thing for sure, I will certainly be glad when November 5th gets here - I am really tired of the election hubabaloo - it is quite exhausting.

Great Post! Yes, I have read both Rich Dad's Prophecy and Why We Want You to Be Rich...one of the candidates definitely is gearing towards what Robert Kiyosaki feared most...

I am definitely for Sen. McCain...yes, he is not perfect but then who is? So far he has been very consistent about his love for this great country. On the other hand, there are some unexplainable domestic and international personal connections that I can't make sense of with Sen. Obama. I don't dislike Sen. Obama...I believe he is born with incredible gifts!

God is definitely in control. We can only vote for who we believe in our hearts is able to run this country back to it's greatness again - there is so much tolerance in our country right now. Good is considered evil and evil is good. He who speaks most eloquently gets the attention. The Scripture asks to honor and respect your leaders. If Sen. Obama wins, I will continue to pray for him just the same.

History repeats itself...there's a huge lesson to be learned from what happened during the reign of The Third Reich in Germany...I believe it's time to wake up from our slumber and get back to the very foundations wherein this great nation was founded in. The repercussions of ignorance are simply unfathomable...

My parents grew up under Mussolini [they were born in 1926]. They lived on the front line in WWII [and my father's name is on a monument to executed POWs but he had been doing the laundry so he escaped the execution because he wasn't where he was supposed to be]. They lived under this fascist, socialist crap in Italy and Germany [once they were occupied by the Germans]. They saw this oppression first hand. Never again.

"Liberal Fascism" by Jonah Goldberg is critical reading - and make sure you read it before the election. Excellent historical analysis. The 57 page appendix with the citations is striking.

Know what you are voting for before you cast your ballot. DO NOT be fooled by the left wing [Obama] rhetoric.

And, I have to add that I grew up in Lexington, MA and only at a later age did I even begin to appreciate what had gone on there and what the stakes are now.

Please pay attention to what you are doing. Make sure you understand. I thought I had "gotten it" when I was younger. Boy, was I wrong!

Well, I am very non-supportive of the popular vote.

Although, I have to agree that no government should have us stop going for our dreams even if it means that we have to change our plans and resources to do it.

The how to matters only to those who have no massive dreams. Thank God for the betternetworking site.

I agree with you that no matter who is in office, your destiny is up to you. We could have 12 more years of the current mess we're in and someone will prosper and someone will suffer. Biblically, these last 8 years remind me a lot of the story about the Pharaoh and the weird dreams he was having.

When his dreams were interpreted by Joseph and it was revealed to him that there would be 7 years of feast and 7 years of famine Joseph suggested to the Pharaoh to find some able bodied man to store the surplus grain in the period of abundance. **Lesson** Make money in the good times and invest in the bad times and repeat cycle. It's worked since the Pharaoh's ruled Eygpt!

What that reminds me of also is that many people are reactionary. When change comes about and they're unprepared someone has to pay... it's because often times they didn't take enough ownership in their future. Complacency hurts.

Fortunately, people in this community are actively engaging in their futures by developing their people skills, mindset, marketing savvy and their leadership qualities and they're sharing them with others.
To me that's the key to financial and a host of other freedoms in an uncertain economy!

Even the richest man in the world, Warren Buffet can appreciate what we networkers do! Maybe that's why he has bought multiple MLM companies. His contrarian thinking over the years has made him rich and wise.

He recognize's the value of network marketing and he counsels and supports Obama... it would appear that an ubersuccessful businessman his age, (who donated $37 Billion dollars to Bill and Melinda Gate's foundation because it's important to him that incredible things for people get accomplished with those monies) probably knows a thing or two about giving back and people. Just my opinion.

I voted for the continuation of a democratic republic, where only if you work, do you get paid, not for socialistic communism, where if you work, everyone shares the wealth. I believe that I know how to better distribute the wealth that I earned, which goes to the poor (not the lazy), than my goverment does.

I need to stop. This definitely opens a can of worms.
