Hi Guys, I have been wondering on this one for quite a while now. How much time are most of us spending on Social Networking? I find that sometimes I can get really carried away and actually waste time instead of doing other projects.
What is a reasonable amount of time that one should spend on Social Networking?
Let me know what kind of time you are investing?
Warm Regards
Alison

How are you Alison?
I posted in the forums about this. Other BN members are finding it helpful. It's more specific to Twitter, but definitely rellevant to your question. I went back and added a comment with some tips and a link you may find helpful as well. It's called Twitter is a BIG MISTAKE for MLM'ers.

Check it out and let me know how you use the information. I'd love to hear about any results you have.

30 minutes....10 in the am 10 at noon and 10 before bed. Gives a sense of much activity throughout the day, without investing the whole day.

I spend an hour a day. Broken up with one community each day getting the attention one day a week. Since I found ping.fm it is a way to be on all the ones you are interested in staying in touch posting in one place.

usually anywhere between 30 min - 2 hours a day on social networking. This time includes everything from digging deep and writing blogs to just fooling around.

Re: How Much Time Do You Spend On Social Networking?
My business has mutiplied since getting involved in Social Networks and I find that I love FACEBOOK better than anything else because we SUPPORT each other 100% and are able to form groups and network with our business offerings and I have certainly become the HUNTED rather than the HUNTER.
I have been spending several hours of my day on Social Networking because it as a quick and easy way for me to make posts to my team and networking partners.
It certainly is not a time waster for me, a great asset

Re: How Much Time Do You Spend On Social Networking?
I spend more than an hour and a half on most days. I was wondering if there's any "rule" or guideline as to how much time one should spend on social networking. Belonging to several sites, it seems like one might need four or five hours a day.
I just started reading the book "Social Media Marketing an Hour a Day" which, I guess, will provide some guideline. I'll have to post again when I'm finished.

Re: How Much Time Do You Spend On Social Networking?
I spend around three hours between MySpace, Facebook and Betternetworker.
Then I am on the phone talking to people after 5pm.
At the moment I am unemployed, so I am using the opportunity to netWORK, while I am
temporarily laid off from my day job.
I love doing this full time.
