The first day of Spring is just days away and you know what that means:

Warmer Weather
Blooming Flowers
Spring Cleaning and
Making Room for the New

I am reminded of the importance of order especially this time of year. And if you work out of your home like I do, this is quite possibly the most significant season of all.

Why do I say this? Because Spring is a great time to look at the outside and understand it's a reflection of what's inside.

I'm not a Feng Shui expert by any means but I have found these simple concepts incredibly powerful. Give them a shot and just see what changes you experience as a result.

You can start in one room but I recommend making your way through your whole house.
-Throw away all trash.
-Throw away all broken or damaged items.
-Give away everything you have not used in 6-12 months.

After you've completely these 3 steps you most likely will be inspired to add these finishing touches.
-Rearrange the room in a way that feels good to you.
-Allow natural light into each space.
-Bring in real plants.

And if you are up for a little extra credit, here are a few more things that will create a wonderful space to live and work in.
-Sage smudging
-Candles or incense
-Bells or a brass bowl

When we let go of the those things that no longer service us, we make room for new things that will. Spring is all about new growth, new life, and new energy.

It definitely is a PROCESS but the great part is when you have things right it takes very little to maintain it.
