Some affiliate programs are promising 6 figures in 3 months and some are promising to ad 10 people or more a day to Your MLM. If you are a serious MLM Builder what is a amount of time it takes to make a real 6 figure income? Do you think you should Educate yourself about how much you have to spend to make X amount. Would you want to ask if they have a proven system? Could you then ask them to Prove it! By calling the people that have been brought in through the system to their MLM. And if you are a Serious MLM builder should you know how many people it takes to make 10k. What is your Plan. A great book to Discover how long it takes to make 6 figures in MLM is Jordon Adlers "Beach Money". Learning the skills takes about 2 to 5 years in any profession to make what the Professionals make. And you usually spend 10's of thousands to get the training. Alot of us do not have that kind of money. That is why I love MLM and Free Training I can get the skills with out losing my Home. There are pitifully few network marketers who can say they are earning 6 figures!

No matter how long they've been in the business.

Without a doubt!

The very fact that the industry reports an average earnings from MLM of less than $10 a week confirms this. That figure is about the average...which means that there are a heck of a lot not earning anything.

Considering that 97% (supposedly) of network marketers are busy quitting at any given time, then the situation looks even more dismal.

But, there are those who are earning 6 figure incomes from their network marketing businesses. I'm willing to bet that it's taken them way longer than 3 months to do it. I'll put money on it that most of them have taken 5 years plus to get there.

Let's keep it real...

Michael I see I to eye with you I would say serious MLM'ers it takes awhile to make 6 figures. and the cool thing is the ones that tell the truth also tell you it was worth it. But what do you think about Educating your self about comp plans and MLM policy and Procedures when picking a Company? Do you think it matters?

Matters?

It's probably the most important thing you can do when evaluating a business that is of interest to you.

No due diligence would be worth anything if the comp plan & P&P's were not made available & studied thoroughly BEFORE signing on the dotted line.

You can be attracted by the best, one-of-a-kind product never seen before...but if you have to recruit 3000 in a downline on an autoship just to make a couple hundred bucks a month, then what's the purpose?

Too many prospects are hunted by very clever marksmen who use very clever techniques to get the signature on the dotted line as soon as possible!

Then...when the facts emerge the newbie high-tails it - only to be lured back with promises of overnight riches for only "bringing in 3".

WE ONLY HAVE OURSELVES TO BLAME for propogating the false dreams in a futile attempt to achieve our own hidden agendas.

Juanita, ....Those are all excellent questions.

If somebody would tell me I could make 6 figures in 3 months with their program I would tell them "PROOF IT!" Also, I get calls from people all the time claiming their program could add 10-20 people a week to my downline. Again, I say "PROOF IT!" Then I get them mumbling and stuttering, ... "ehm actually, I am not there yet but my upline......"

From my own experience, it took me 6 years to make some decent money in the industry. There is no easy way. No quick fix. No magic formula. Only hard work, dedication, commitment, persistence and perseverance.

Jordan Adler's "Beach Money" is an excellent book I would recommend to everyone in the industry, new or seasoned. But especially to those new to the industry. It took Jordan 12 years and just as many companies to hit his breakthrough. He tells it like it is and is an awesome inspiration and living proof that even if you failed miserably in the past success can still be yours if you never give up.

P.S. Absolutely!! I believe the comp plan is VERY important. If a newbie has a real chance to make enough money for at least a car payment in a short amount of time, than that's a good comp plan for me. Then he or she can build on that. It has to be attainable without having to sponsor a ton of people though as well. Given the fact that the average networker only sponsors 2.6 people.

Some comp plans out there take a rocket scientist to figure out though.

I was surrounded by people this past weekend in Vegas who had achieved amazing results in less than a year. Some of them right here on BN.

So is it possible? Yes ! And the ones I met in person were sincere, humble, gracious, willing to help anyone who was willing to do the necessary activities.

So can it be done in 2 years or less? Yes ! The proof was in the pudding as they say.

Pays to surround yourself with millionaires - you begin to realize the possibilities are only limited by you and your own decisions.

Name Names we can not make a Good deduction on hear say! Name numbers. And what are yours. All we want is Proof. Is that Wrong?

I know people that have made over $10k their first month.

A friend of mine made $10k on his first sale.

I know people that have broken $100k in their first year.

I won't name them, because it's not up to me to broadcast what
they do to the world. Privacy, you know?

I didn't make anywhere near that kind of money that fast.

What I don't understand is why so many people say that this isn't
a get rich quick business. If you get rich (ok, what is rich?) in 5 years,
wouldn't you call that quick? I sure would.
For the sake of this argument, let's say success is grossing over $100k in
a year.

I'm sensing an adversarial attitude in your post, Juanita.
I don't believe it's anyone's business how much money another person is
making. But since you've thrown out your demands to know what others
are doing, how 'bout you get the ball rolling and publish your personal
income?
