Hey everyone!
My name is Harun Bahri and I thought it would be a fun personal project to track my progress as I build my business from the ground floor up. Plus, by putting my intentions out into the public like this, it will act as a great motivator to "get er done!"

A little bit about me:
I first got involved in the Network Marketing industry back in 2001 (boy, that seems like ages ago now!) and enjoyed some success.

Since 2005, I've been involved in the industry in the background via my regular day job/profession as a professional copywriter and direct response marketing consultant.

The state of my biz right now:
Since the company I'm joining is in pre-launch right now, I haven't been able to sign up yet. However that doesn't mean there isn't lots to do.

Just last night, I bought a couple of URL's to market the product and the biz opp.

Next up is to get them hosted and graphics designed.

I'm also planning on setting up a FaceBook fan page as well as create my long-term marketing and lead gen plan.

Not to mention, actually filling out my BN profile!

Unfortunately, between work and friends coming to visit for a week starting tonight, I'm going to be hard pressed to get much, if anything done. But that's okay, I'm not going to beat myself up over how little I accomplish during that time. Instead, I'm going to focus on enjoying my time with my good friends. After all, it's one of the reasons why I'm starting my business - to enjoy time freedom.

Looking forward to meeting and making new friends here.

What a journey! Seems like you are ready to rock!

I have also had quite a long journey in Network Marketing (since 2003). I have entered the online world in late 2010. After fiddling with a lot of information and confusion, I am now feeling quite settled. Still a lot more to implement though.

I am glad that you have a range of activities to get leads online! Well done! Can't wait to see you grow

Hi Anders, I really like your site and how personal you are with your readers. I'll definitely be watching and reading!

Hey Viola, I'm a HUGE Jim Rohn fan.
In fact, I was fortunate to meet and speak with him on several occasions. Extremely saddened by his death not too long ago. Fortunately he left us quite the legacy of wisdom and advice!

BUSINESS UPDATE:

The friends are gone - what a whirlwind of a week it's been!
Between hanging out with them, big work project deadlines, employee management and other obligations, I honestly didn't get much done. But that was expected so I'm not stressing about it.

Here's what I've done in the last week and a half:

- Gotten all my sites hosted.

- Found several cool themes and skins/designs (some free, some with a small cost) for the sites which are being installed right now.

- wrote rough drafts for a couple of product related ads.

- Hired graphic artist to design a nice header and footer for my sites.

- Registered for my companies big webinar this coming Wednesday and even got a couple of friends interested who are going to attend (or so they say...)

That's about everything that I can remember doing though I'm sure there's one or two small things I've done but can't recall at this time.
