Especially like the student, I strongly not recommend them to use auto-responder in the 1st - 3rd month.. I witness tons of internet marketer pay autoresponder, but the stat of visitors shown at their blog/ website are shameless..

Why would you tell someone new not to utilize one of the most prolific tools in internet marketing?
Start building your list immediately. It will be one of your most valuable assets.

Why do you think offline strategies begin with, um..... Make a List?
It's the same principle. Make a list. You need an autoresponder.
In todays online business world however, a more accurate definition is: online contact management system.

Sure you can set it up with pre-written messages and stagger their delivery, etc., etc.
But the "autoresponder" as it's used by savvy internet marketers is to build your list and network efficiently with that list.

Maybe you need to clarify what you mean exactly.
But as you wrote it here, I highly recommend you rethink your advice.

I have to go with the disagrees here, as writen that is some really bad advice.

But, Let me try and read between the lines for him and maybe this will sheed some light on it. I think he means because you are not driving enough traffic to your blog or capture page to justify the cost of an autoresponder. If that is what he is saying I would still disagree. I would advise on learning how to drive traffic to your site.

Hi Guys,

I can understand someone thinking that having an autoresponder is an additional expense and something they can do without.

However, I too highly recommend that it is one of the first tools you invest in. I introduced my father tothe business some 8 months or so ago and he had a list of ten people. From that list of ten people he went and made $800 in one day.

When you are starting out, your list will be so small that you will only pay a small amount of cash for your autoresponder. It is only when you get over 2000 subscribers that the price starts to shift upwards.

You guys maybe never be with youngster who keen on doing internet marketing.. They are students, not having a good family background, they even struggle to pay for their MLM product fee every month..

Plus most of the internet marketer (no matter youngster or adult) fail to make money isn't ? Do they save a bit money from wasted if ignore autoresponder ? Maybe you guys misunderstood my point, I point is the newbie which don't know about the basic such generate traffic yet think that autoresponder is the most important thing.. How can anyone fail to make money?

I never seen someone sit on their butt rubbing a lamp, or cloth and hey presto, they make money.

So forget making...money.

Make sales.

Focus on the tasks that attract, build relationship to sales.

But do so, with ethics, values of honesty, integrity, and care for people. Care enough to even be blunt and say it straight.

But how do you know what works?

Is it with autoresponder or not? Is it a blog or not? Is it this or that way of writing? Is it this headline or this forum, or this capture page?

No, no, wait.....is it this sales letter or no sales letter? Short or long? Video instead?

Is it telephone after or first?

How can one know?

Here's the secret and pay close attention. For here will secure your financial freedom and so will it be for any student, and anyone else...

And it is not so, to disrespect anyone but rather to respect the industry we are in and to teach beginner or advance, this secret...

Take counsel in the fact, you have the tools to..

2. Test.
3. Measure
4. And know what works and what doesn't work for you.

To then turn this round and help other students to..

1. Create.
2. Test
3. Measure
4. And know what works and what doesn't work for them.

So teach this skill.

1. Research, identify.
2. Create.
3. Test.
4. Measure
5. To know what works for them or not.

With or without autoresponder? Test and measure.

Article and headline and..? Test and measure.

Blogging this way or that way? Test and measure.

This strategy or that one? TEST AND MEASURE!

There is no Yes and there is No such thing as no.

There is only three powerful words.

Test....Test...Test...and know why you test and what to test, and how to use this knowledge.

Honour what you believe in.

By testing and measuring, and bringing these data, facts to the forefront for these students to see, to inspire them, to give hope, to SHOW EXACTLY HOW ONCE AND FOR ALL!

Be that leader.

That's how you will know. That's how they will know. That's how anyone will know for themselves.

And you my friend, will never know why these students fail. You cannot see inside their hearts. You cannot see what time, hours or not hours, they do.

Only they will know.

I absolutly Agree with Adam. If your not willing to see if it works, it makes it difficult to teach. Knowing this really does allow you to enjoy the Journey a bit more. It can all be viewed as an advernture, as if you are paving the way for others. It can be such an enjoyable experience. Great Post..

I also agree with Adam.

Using an autoresponder sounds logical...but it's another skill that newbies have to learn. Being able to sell and write persuasive copy isn't something that's acquired over night...and those skills are part of writing successful autoresponder sequences.

However, there could be cases where a newbie is able to write copy that actually converts at a decent rate. With testing and tracking, you'll be able to determine that.

Also, just because you have a bunch of subscribers, it doesn't mean that you're doing well as an email marketer. Small lists can actually do well if they're built around real action takers - the buyers.

With all of that being said, autoresponders don't cost much. Can a newbie make 20-50 bucks a month to cover their cost of doing business? If you're serious about it and you ctually put in time as if you're really running a business, I believe that you could make that and more. It also takes a lot of action to get over the learning curve fast...just reading a bunch of ebooks or watching videos isn't good enough.

Hello Eldy and everybody else! I hope you are all well.

Not getting an auto-responder when I first started is something that I really regret! I waited quite a while before I even signed up to one and I used to manually message my leads/sign ups myself! Which was definitely time consuming to say the least!

In a nuthsell, if you are reading this and do NOT have an auto-responder, then what are you waiting for?! Go get one now because you will be saving yourself a LOT of time!
