It really depends on a lot of factors. Obviously many people are successful using clickbank, so there's no problem with the idea of using clickbank.

but what do you want to achieve? how much are you willing to split with affiliates on a sale? what can affiliates achieve that you may not on your own? or do you have enough skills to market your ebook via a blog or landing page?

the answers to these and many other questions will help you determine the best course of action for you.

question: have you done some research on the amount of traffic google gets for your particular ebook or related stuff?

Hi Marius,

I think you should also bear in mind that processing the payments and especially the commission payments to your affiliates will be an enormous task! This is probably where Clickbanks online payment processing & hoplink-builder is going to save you a great deal of stress!

Good luck,
Stephen

Hey Tom,

Honestly, here is my 2 cents and I could be wrong seeing as I don't know
everything about your situation...

1. Would I sell on PLR Products on Clickbank?

I would NOT sell PLR Products on Clickbank for the simple fact that others
have probably done the same already... BUT I would definitely create my own
product and then offer the PLR Products as bonuses AND maybe even unadvertised
bonuses.

2. What Else Could You Do To Make Money With PLR Products?

You could easily set up a blog, fan page, twitter account and so on...

Tie these all to your RSS feed.

Then post a page of the PLR Content to your blog everyday. This will trigger the
RSS Feed and post updates to Twitter, Facebook Profile, Fan Page, etc

This will get you seen as an AUTHORITY in many niches (obviously differnt accounts
for each niche) and then you can build a list and offer quality affiliate products to
monetize those relationships.

3. How to Build A Huge List With PLR Products?

Run some ads on Facebook, Google, etc...

Send them to a Squeeze Page

Have them opt-in for the 1st 2 chapters (or whatever you feel like giving them)

Then every day send them a new page as an email with a CALL TO ACTION which links
to a Salesletter where you are selling more PLR Products for a great price.

NO AFFILIATES TO SPLIT WITH IN THIS SCENARIO AND YOU ARE BUILDING A LIST AND
HOOKING THEM UP EVERYDAY WITH AWESOME CONTENT!

Again Tom these are just some ideas I think are very valuable and that will NET you in the
LONG TERM a much better LOYAL AUDIENCE, ROI & LIST!

Your Friend,
Kevin DaSilva

P.S. BONUS TIP::: You could also find popular forums for each niche you have PLR Products
for and post in there Classified Section your PLR Products for $1.

Why $1?

Because all you are doing is BUILDING A LIST OF BUYERS... A BIG LIST AND FAST!

You can also do this using Ebay.

Hope this helps you out!

CB is great but adding products and getting them approved kinda sucks. This isn't too bad of an issue if you're not planning on adding a lot of products. It really depends on what your goals are.

You'll also want to check out their list of prohibited products to see what you can sell:

I agree with Charles here in that "getting them approved" may be difficult. Because it's a PLR product, you and a bunch of other folks purchased the same products. Even if you all gave them different names and created a new graphic, it's still the same product and I think CB is trying to keep redundant products from their directory.

Clickbank may be worth it if you are selling your products. What if you are not? Your products are posted, people click on your site, and no response. Clickbank stills charges you a monthly fee. All these clickblank charges may equal more than the profit of a sale. My affiliate site has all that is needed to purchase products without going through an outside bank. I would suggest to do your research further on the values of having clickbank.
