Hi
When we start a home based business, we should know how hard
we will have to work to achieve our goals.
Michael Dlouhy has taught us to ask The 10K Question.
"How many active distributors do I need in my business to generate
a walk away residual income of $10000 per month?"
We like the question for several reasons.
1. It leaves out products. We don't get into discussions like "My
juice is better than your medical plan!" or "My water filter is better
than your travel deals!"
2. The word 'active' avoids discussion of attrition rates and the
commitment levels of your team.
3. The phrase 'walk away' makes us investigate our policies and
procedures to make sure we can actually retire and pass our
business on to our children's children.
4. The word 'residual' makes us calculate how much money we
will make from retail or wholesale sales, not just from recruiting.
5. The figure of $10000 makes us think big. It's also fair to the
company, as most or all of the commissions and bonuses will
have kicked in by then.
If we started a job or bought a traditional business, we would
know our salary or the income projections from the previous
owner. When we start a home business, however, we rarely
ask that question, and we should!
We worked for five years in a business and discovered too late
that it was going to be almost impossible to reach our goals.
We wished we had asked the 10K question before we started.
If you do not know the answer to that question in your present
business, find out before you waste five years as we did.
If you are considering starting a business, ask the question.
If your sponsor or upline or company rep support cannot answer
you, RUN! As Michael Dlouhy says, "Run far and run fast!"
If you'd like some help to calculate the 10K answer for your
company, we will be glad to work with you. We can also help
you analyze your company's policies and procedures to see if
your business is protected for you and your family.

"How many active distributors do I need in my business to generate a walk away residual income of $10000 per month?"
Contrary to what Michael Dlouhy has taught you, that's not the question to ask! There are 4 questions to ask:
1) Does your opportunity have the 6 key criteria for putting the odds of success in your favor? This one is the most important! (Michael's program doesn't, but the program I'm involved with does!)
2) How many teams or "legs" do you have to build to earn $10,000 a month? (In Michael's you need 4, in the program I'm involved with we only need 2.)
3) Does everyone's sales in my teams, regardless of who enrolled them or where they are placed, count towards my income? (In Michael's program the answer is no, in the program I'm involved with the answer is yes!) Remember, the goal in network marketing is to be able to leverage off the efforts of as many people as possible!
4) What are the qualification and maintenance requirements necessary to earn the $10,000 month income? (In Michael's program you need 4 perfectly structured legs so you have to sponsor at least 4 people with someone in each leg who has reached a particular level of achievement..in the program I'm involved with you only have to sponsor 2 people and build 2 legs..no other hurdles to meet unlike his program)
So the queston really needs to be: What opportunity has all 6 key criteria in place where I can earn $10,000 a month for sponsoring the fewest number of people, building the fewest number of teams or legs, and having to meet the fewest number of qualification and maintenance requirements, and where I can leverage off the efforts of everyone in my organization and where I can get paid the fastest?
That's the question, not how many people does it take because basing it on a number alone assumes a variety of things taking place perfectly, which never happens!
And why is the number $10,000 a month so critical? Why not $10,000 a WEEK? Can you make up to $10,000 a month or $10,000 a week + matching bonuses if you only have 2 legs or teams in Michael's program? No! In the program I'm involved with the answer is Yes! In fact, its up to $25,000 a WEEK in our program plus matching bonuses! Can you make that in Michael's program if you only have 2 teams? No!)
Furthermore, I'd rather be in a program where it might require more people but where getting those customers is easier and takes place faster than a program where it might require a fewer number of people but where it is harder and takes longer to get customers...
For example, he assumes that with 400 perfectly placed people throughout 4 legs that one will earn $10,000 a month..Let's give him the benefit of the doubt that his assumption would occur. Does that mean that it's better to be in his program than a company where it might require 500 or 600 or even 800 peole? NO! I'd rather be in a company where 600 people might be needed, but they have a product that sells faster, easier, and produces 4 times more volume than to be in a company where it might only take 400 people but it takes 4 times longer to get the 400...He is assuming that his products will sell equally as easily, fast, and in the same amount as others, and that's one of the fallacies!
The only reason he uses that phrase is that it is a set up to getting people to buy into his company instead of somebody else's program. He lays out a perfect scenario where those 400 people would be perfectly placed and uses his generic 5 pillars training as a door opener to lead you to the conclusion he wants you to reach, position himself as an expert, and to develop a relationship with you, all in the hope that down the road you will join his organization, so it is nothing more than a cleverly designed recruiting ploy which you have obviously bought into...
When you are ready to earn $10,000 a month for building just 2 teams or legs instead of 4 in Michael's program, let us know!
