Aisle 19/YTB?

Postby Victor Chiappetta on Sat Sep 05, 2009 5:10 pm

I was wondering what the informed opinion is about YTB and their child Aisle 19.
Aisle 19 looks like a pretty good opportunity but I have heard some very negative things about YTB with State governments suing them and all.
Of course there is so much negativity on the web about anything and everything it is hard to cut through the lies and the truth.
Is Aisle 19 to be trusted?
The Aisle 19 comp plan looks about as confusing as can be.
Although joing for free and getting discounts on groceries looks pretty appealing.
I am hoping the informed minds here can help me out on this one.
Thanks in advance all-

You know it is truly amazing how people can just trash another company for no reason at all. How many company's have you checked up on the BBB? You don't stop shopping at a grocery store because some disgruntle customer sued them do you? Or just because a new company comes around and promises all the bells and whistle. You see YTB has been around for quite some time now and they are only getting better from day to day. They have expand and grown in the travel industry inspite of what the nay sayers and doom sayers have said. I encourage you to do your own research if you want to join ytb then let this be your decision. I myself have been with ytb for a while and I simply enjoy it. I enjoy all the travel perks, all the great vacations and now Aisle 19. ANYTIME I can save money on things that I am already going to do or buy anyway I am all for.

I am always astonished when I am directed to view comments such as the one I just read. These are people who have no formal knowledge or education, hence lack "critical thinking," and just proceed to "follow." Frequently, when you look into such individuals' past you will see a lenghty history of "Following" - no leadership; no ability to think for themselves. Although they may possess the intellectual ability to examine "fact" they frequently resist because they want to believe "fiction." If you examine their private lives you will find the trails of mistake after mistake and they wonder why?

Sound decision-making requires listening to positive and negative aspects of a situation; assessing the summary of both; looking at "fact" while ignoring "fiction;" proceeding with both vantage points in mind. Blind followers are those individuals who typically have low self-esteem, cannot tolerate any negative feedback (quit anything and everything in which they could not succeed), and lack the ability to really work. Typically such individuals EXPECT and feel ENTITLED to aspects of life that they are unwilling to pursue through honest hard work. In a parasitic way they grab onto the first best thing - YTB, and like other cultish MLMs are duped into believing that they will soon own a yacht! I can only suggest (having been invited to add my professional response here) that each YTB follower look at the facts - not fiction. YTB stock is a good start. The remnants (YTB Stock) represents bonuses paid - remember they paid their leaders with stock. Do your homework and take a moment to read drbtherapy.wordpress.com as soon as possible.

Aisle 19 is a separate entity from YTB. I am an IBO for Escape International and Aisle 19 is our product. How can shopping online at stores that offer shopping online be a scam? 700 plus stores would not be aligned with a company that cannot be trusted.

Stores hire marketing agencies to bring them customers. Aisle 19 is just another vehicle to match consumers with stores that give them product. Aisle 19 gets paid a percentage of every purchase. It cannot get any simpler than that.

I would also like to add that YTB's legal issues have nothing to do with Escape International / Aisle 19. YTB does not own Aisle 19. MLM Holdings owns Aisle 19. Aisle 19 is just a product that YTB reps can now market.

On the flip side I do not like to put any other companies down. I just let the facts speak for themselves. Why would you pay $500 to join a company that markets Aisle 19 when you can do it for free with Escape International? I never understood that.

Ian!!!!!! Oh my! But I wouldn't say that he has no formal knowledge or his comment was for no reason at all. He was a Director and learned first hand the dealings of the company - hence his "stay away" comment.

I agree with Brandon. You can get the same Aisle 19 with Escape International without paying the $500 and the monthly fee. It also gives you the ability to build an organization where with YTB you can only earn the cash back.

Makes more sense.
