I just read an article and CLIA is accepting nominations for the CLIA 2008 Hall of Fame. According to the article, nominations should be based on the following considerations: Did the nominee's accomplishments change or affect the cruise industry in a positive way? Can the nominee be considered a positive role model? What did the nominee accomplish that sets him or her apart from others in the industry?
I think it would be a real shot in the arm for YTB if Coach J. Lloyd Tomer won the nomination. Remember the Carnival campaign he launched after Royal Carribbean ditched us. And, wouldn't that show IATA that we are a travel agency first. Let's pass the word along. When YTB RTA'er join together, we can make things happen. What do you think?
To nominate Coach Tomer go to the Travel Agent Center at www.cruising.org. Let's pass the word.
