First, YTB announced it is looking at the franchise business model but also added the reassurance that current RTA's would be treated favorably and that the "Bill of Rights" would in no way be violated. Then ironically during the biggest convention in the history of the company, CA AG filed a lawsuit against YTB for its business practices in CA and IL AG was taking notice as well. Then, former RTA's who apparently were so "unlearned" that they thought they could buy a company for less than $500, not invest anymore money or time and make 6 figures in 6 months filed a class action lawsuit. While these lawsuits seem ludicrist to those of us in the business, they are real and with our court system the way it is could take at best months to resolve and perhaps even years with no guarantee that YTB will come out on top. So where does that leave us? I have a deep personal committment to the people I bring into the business and will do everything I can to help them become successful. Accordingly, I have a very difficult time asking someone to invest their hard earned money and precious time into something that at best is uncertain right now. I was just wondering if any of you are experiencing this sense of hesitation and if you are what are you doing about it? I realize it will be hard for me to move my business forward until I can get passed this. While I do believe that MLM's are the best way to make money in a short amount of time and perhaps I should just look at moving on to another company, I love selling travel and really have no desire to sale lotions and potions,vitamins or energy drinks. If anyone has any advice, a solution or simply just an opinion, I'm all ears.

Where do we go from here? Absolutely No where.
Its election year and this was anticipated to happen, especially when you are becoming the biggest and best. MLM's are still the best business option and will always be. Things are hard for everyone / everywhere. If I could give just a little advise. What you Focus on Will Expand. DO NOT look at the negative of things, you will only bring more of that in your life. When you focus on what you do not want, that is exactly what you will get. Focus on what you want and move forward, sure its slow but your moving forward. Have you ever read Think and Grow Rich? The ones that run or are afraid are the ones you do not want anyway. You want leaders who stand when others want to run. DO NOT let fear run your life, only belief and achieve your Dreams. Spend time in the personal development section and the Wealth Files section. If you can make it to a free Millionaire Mind Intensive seminar, do so. You can register on my site. I went to 2 of them and my first one signed up 6 people to YTB. You network with many fantastic people and have many opportunities to share what you have. What do you have? The greatest travel business in the industry. You will also find what is holding you back from success, why some people get rich and others stay poor. It is an absolutely fantastic time. I'll always stay with YTB and look for other Great investments. For those who think otherwise, well one day you will be asking to join or wished you never left. Wait till they become Franchised....WOW...Now you really will have something that has never been done before.
The Founders of YTB are completely honest and have nothing to hide. YTB is traded on the exchange and is completely legal.
There are those individuals out there who for what ever reason think that you just need to join an MLM and do just a little work and you will get rich. When things do not go their way they go around and scream SCAM all over the place. Well for those people I say this, go back to punching a time clock and keep complaining, you will always get what you do not want, and you will never make it in Network Marketing. That's what you focus on, excuses, fear, and failure.
What ever MLM Business your in it takes 2 to 3 years of hard work to make it happen. YTB is rated one of the best Network Marketing Companies to be in. E-mail me and I'll send proof of that.

Hi,
I was at the convention when all of the lawsuits started popping up. While it was disappointing news, Coach and Scott assured us they were on top of it. What I took away from the convention was that YTB is on the top of everybodies hit list, especially brick and mortor agencies and smaller mlm companies. When you are a threat people take notice. While this may slow the growth down some, I have chose to recruit more now than before because of my belief in the leadership YTB has.

My advice to you would be to go to some presentations or the new CRTA training so you can talk with those in the business. Keep your head up, and stay positive.

There's absolutely nothing to worry about with Ytb. I recieved some inside information about that lawsuit that you'all aught to know. YTB, is actually counter sueing the company for false allegations.

YTB is on Top of Their Game, Nothing To worry about.

I took my Team and left YTB back in 2006 because of the news I was hearing back then, we moved on and though I believe it is a great business oppt, it just was not for us. I feel for everyone who was able to stick with it.

YTB will over come these issues, if you can manage to be patient enough to put up with it then you will come out on top. My Team was not, many of them came from the Travel Industry and were already selling Travel and did not want to be associated with YTB after losing the credentials.

I believe YTB has come a long way and will continue to move mountains in this great Industry Travel!
