Empty Nester's Social Club

Ever since the kids moved out on their own, it seems our social contacts did too.  Ultimately, our kids are a great social connector.  Through them we meet other parents at PTO meetings, ball games, fundraisers and the list goes on and on.  But, it seems that since the kids found their own successful lives and moved on from Mom and Dad, our social contacts have all but gone away.  Sure, we still have the loyal friends we had 10 years ago, but even some of them have moved on to other localaties.  

I decided that if we were in this predicament, there probably were lots of other people out having the same issues.  I decided that by starting an online social club to address the empty nester's needs,  people might be able to connect and not just socialize online, but also form friendships with those who live around them.

So, if you are an empty nester looking for a new social life, you have come to the right place.  Perhaps you have discovered a new way to meet new people in your area and you would like to share that with the group.  Or, you have some great ideas for parties that you can pass along to others.  Many people like to have parties but don't because of their fear of failure. 

There is no charge to join The Empty Nester's Social Club and doing so might just change your life.  I have only started this group, but it is a work in progress so please feel free to add anything you want to.
