Give Without Expectation. 

Sounds great...sometimes, however, what we "feel," can be dramatically different.  Have you ever found yourself disappointed when someone didn't buy your product, join your team, of come on board with your group? If you have, then you are at the right place with the right people. Together, we can learn have to move beyond a cliche and put action into our desire.

I find that it is easy to become attached to a specific outcome, whether in business, relatioinship or life, if I am living "unconsciously."  And then I become disappointed or fearful when the situation doesn't go my way, or the person doesn't respond the way I want them to respond, or something seems out of my control.  The bottom line is that I hear a lot about this concept in this new Age of Influence internet marketing.  How do we each move from talking to action...from concept to implementation?  Bring your ideas to our group about what is and isn't working in your Real life. 

My experience has been that "Giving Without Expectation" only happens by practicing this in our daily lives. It is not an Ed McMahon trick where you hold the "thought" next to your head and it happens through osmosis. I have discovered that the way I begin to shift in my daily life is by becoming "aware" that I have gotten attached to a specific outcome.  In that moment, I realize that I haven't "given without expectation."  This awareness brings me into "consciousness," but it is only in that state that I can make a new decision.

At the end of "about me," I talk about our year-long journey, criss-crossing America.  Roby and I embraced this idea of  "Giving Without Expectation" during that year, as our goal was to take the journey unattached to a specific outcome.  Our only intention was to engage hearts and minds, create authentic connections, and transcend differences that separate us.  So, that is why I am putting this out there to Better Networker folks.  It is my opportunity to continue learning in this business in the same way. Then, no matter what comes my way, my joy is there, irrespective of the circumstances.
