Hey guys just wanted to give some advice that was past to me but one of our best Dwayne Johnson.

A couple days ago i was talking to Dwayne and what he told me is when it comes to the internet you want to establish yourself as a leader in the industry and after you have position yourself as a leader then people will follow you to your opportunity. This just made sense because now a days people dont want to be told what to join in the internet all they want is for someone to teach them how to market themselve on the internet. Its what Mike Dillard talks about in his Magnetic Sponsoring, he states that first you have to give value before you can pitch your opportunity to people. What Value means is just showing people you know something then dont and then helping them solve there problems. The reason im telling you guys this is because we all know whats the best company out there 5LINX.

Here is an Example of Dwayne video in which he got 5000 customers and 600 reps guys and not onces does he mention what company he is in all he did was brand himself as a leader and people followed. Well i cant post it here but if you go to:

youtube and then type Dwayneajohnson and the name of the video is Job Opening

Let hit PSVP!!

I hope this helps guys

Great Post Jamel

Jamel, that was a great post man. Thanks for sharing with the group. Anytime you get advice from an SVP please share the advice. Does anyone else have any other good advice to share?

You are absolutely correct. You must position yourself as a leader and people will automatically ask you what you do and follow you. Lets keep these kinds of posts going. Guys keep your team members fired up and don't give up on this opportunity. Keep yourself plugged into all the meeting and I will see you all in South Beach in January. Lets grow this group and help each other get to the top. I want to see some of you walking the stage in South Beach as ED's, ND's and SVP's. It can happen.

Thanks again Jamel for the post and keep up the good work. I see your fired up!!! That's what I like to see.

LP.

Well written

I totally agree with what you said. Showing value creates a sense of credibility that can translate into lasting relationships that can turn into clients. Regardless of the MLM you are in, it's still about the people.

Branding Yourself

Aloha 5Linx Rep group I see the latest post about branding yourself and it sounds as though we are all on the same sheet of music.  However, my question to you all is what have you done or should I say what have you changed in your way of conducting business and how have you started to brand yourselves?

Branding

CJ, good question. Well first thing that I have in place is using multiple social networking avenues, and just be yourself. Show pictures of your family, of friends stuff you do on a daily basis. People want to know about YOU now about your business. They want to know what makes you tick, what do you like and don't like. They want to know everything about you before they can even remotely feel comfortable to join your business if they are interested. First everyone should own some Internet realestate. I've had lincolnparks.com registered now for some time, and now I'm going to put it all together. I have Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, and multiple other social networking sites that tie people into me, and how I live daily. I generally like helping people so I help them solve issues that have nothing to do with what I do.

So as I get more friends, and they feel more comfortable with me, they will want to know what I do eventually and this is when they are invited into my world. I brand the name LincolnParks.com so that everyone will know it, and Eventually want to know everything about me. Its me, my Brand! Did that answer your question? That's just me, its what I do.

Branding Yourself

Yes to a certain degree but no as I would have expected you to give the "how" not so much the "what". Since you stated you have several social sight and you enjoy helping others. Here is a sample of my "how" please tell me what you think. Also I invite you to join and/or follow me on twitter at Yakupbey750

6 Step FoolProof Myspace Profile Formula worksheet
This worksheet is designed to walk you through the steps of creating your myspace profile. This is the most important part of your entire myspace marketing. There is a right way to do this and a wrong way to do this like we talked about in the video. Don’t let that scare you though…if you follow these steps there is NO way you can do it wrong. All of our testing and market research has led to this myspace formula and we find that when used it produces the best results for you and your business.
I personally get overwhelmed whenever I create things so I need things broken down for me in steps and that’s what this worksheet is for. Just fill out each part…add them together and you got your myspace profile that captivates and attracts prospects to your business instead of you chasing them! So just sit down, get your favorite beverage, get some music to pump you up and let’s get after it…
The MySpace Profile Formula is:
1. Personal Pictures (Helps grab your reader’s attention.)
2. Personal Background (Helps you make a connection / helps people to relate with you / helps build rapport with your reader and draws them further into your story to keeps them interested to want to learn more about you.)
3. Personal Problem (Here you paint your own personal frustrations, challenges, or problems that caused you to look for a solution or a different alternative to what you’re already doing right now that just doesn’t work for you.)

Build Value

Building value is of paramount importance in growing as a leader and branding yourself. Branding yourself is easy when you are consistently adding value wherever you surface on or offline. Remain a student of the industry so you can continue to be valuable to a team so as they grow you need to grow also.
