Hey Gang,

There are so man thoughts running through my head.  I am sitting on an airplane on my way to my hometown, Maui, Hawaii.  I will be there for two weeks to visit with my twin brother , sister and my beloved mother. 

I grew up on Maui from the age of 7 and learned to tame the oceans , taking some coral in my face at times and some encounters with Morey eels (Which most of the ones I came across I speared and had for dinner.  I was an avid surfer, growing up right on the water in Maalaea bay (The fastest waves in the world) , those suckers have a 90 MHP wave that breaks in front of a break wall.  Over the years I mastered it with may fond memories.

Anyways, I ended up moving to NY from the Islands in 1988 to persue a degree from a NY State University.

Bottom line is that I am going to build my dream.  I am going to enlarge my vision of where I truly want my life to be. 

I could never understand people who would rather just go through the motions of working a job for 40 years and come out at the end with what?  The answer is uncertainty.  People these days are living on a prayer and it’s not their fault.

Most folks went to school, because that is what their parents did or said to do, to get an education and eventually if you worked hard, you would make it. 

WRONG. That is a model that may have worked backed in the late 70’s, 80’s and possibly 90’s but in todays day and age, the tides have turned.  Things are not what they used to be.

People are preparing for the world that was and that is a huge no no.  We need to be preparing for the world that is to be and those people who grab hold of that will be the next successful people on our planet.

Corporate America is no longer a Martini Lunch Guaranteed pension and 401K society.  It’s a displaced, outsourced, tight place to work and its dog eat dog.  If you don’t watch your butt, you can guarantee someone else will.

I always wanted to play on a level playing field, knowing that if I put this much effort in, I would get this much effort out, BOTTOM LINE.

If you are collecting unemployment, I am not talking to you. Obama will take care of your needs, but only to the poverty + level so don’t keep your hopes up.

We live in a country in which we are free to enterprise, where capitalism is key.  Why do so Americans not think enough of themselves to make a life for themselves, the way it was meant to be lived.

OK, now I am getting fired up.  Listen. And listen good.  Work a job, you will be broke for the rest of your life, hands down, mark my word on it.  You are controlled by someone else telling you how much money you can make on a yearly bases.
