Rewards of Sharing
Group: Becoming a Strong LeaderSimple Inspiration
Be Generous and you will receive generously.
I've been with communities that have certain systems in place for sharing ( usually the burdens). Best example is when someone's son / daughter gets married (one of the biggest responsibility as a parent) the whole community will contribute towards the cost of the wedding which helps in reducing the financial burden. The community also helps out with the physicle side of organising the wedding function. In the olden days the wedding receptions used to go on for three days! This process has been in place for thousands of years and if you look at closely you'll see the roots of Networking (smaller efforts joined together to handle the larger task). This concept does offer great sense of security in practical terms as all the resources remain the same but are magnified when put together to handle the task at hand. With Generosity one shouldn't expect immediate reward, but the reward in one way or another will be there.

Thank you, Salinder
This has been proved in my daily life over and over again, and the "reward" does often come in an unexpected way, especially when we can be generous without expecting anything in return.
