I took a poll recently that you may have answered (Thank you for participating) and the highest requested topic was getting started with video.... and I'm sorry, I can't help you.
I have a lot of the same questions myself!
I have been asking a lot of questions though with all the networking I do online and I've had the fortune to meet who I will call AskMrs.Video. She's a friend of mine named Penny Haynes from the www.CommercialCreation Center.com.
When I first met Penny I was just interviewing her as a Internet WAHM success story. After I got to know more about her and her software I realized I was asking questions you guys would probably want to know the answers to as well.
And she's agreed to do a live session with me and my other smart beginner friends.
You've got video marketing and screen capture question's and Penny, a work at home mom, has WAHMswers!

Thanks for the posting. I'm glad the call will be recorded because my wife & I are singing for a Volunteer Christmas Party for First Baptist Church of Orlando tonight and will be unavailable for the call.
Also, I'm working on one of my PASSIONS we talked about. I've entitled it,
"The ABC's of a Healthy Marriage: Agape Style."
Once I learn how to successfully do video, I want to do a video series of what it takes to secure a healthy marriage.

AAAGGGHH - Another 'Easy' Video Software
I have yet to find one that is 'easy' by my definition.
> Turns itself on and off, depending on whether the computer is playing up or not.
> Automatically decide which part of the screen I want to focus on.
> Add the narration cos I'm not too sure folks will like my (not so) British accent.
> Automatically upload itself to all the video sites when I've finished, but only after it's scanned itself to make sure there are no mistakes!
Does Penny's do this kind of thing? lol
Anyone who makes a go of video has my utmost respect. That's why I love Cenay so much! She cranks em out in her sleep.
Be sure to give us all the 'painkillers' when you're done Malika.

Hi
Video is only as hard as you make it. I had/have a problem with trying not to look away from the camera, messing with lighting etc. I have also had to work on getting the marbles out of my mouth, and the goofy looks off my face when I start and stop capture. But it's a blast. I have a new neice and I am 3000 mi away, I was thinking about making her a video blog of her aunt kim so that when I do finally get to meet her she will know my voice and what I look like. She is only a couple of months old now. I'm thinking that would be great practice. :)

What a great idea Kim. If your family does that back and forth that would be a great application for video blogging. You're doing a great job with video even as you get started, keep it up!
