WARNING: This one is long so have some time or print it to read when you do.

My intention was to make a video for you guys showing you how to story board your content and how to use a simple Search Engine Optimization Method that has help me automate so much of my online prospecting.... But, I stop by me email first (forgive me :-D) and I was just blown away about what I read and I wanted to share this with you.

So What Is It?

It's an email from a guy you may have heard of Name Mike Klingler. Just in case you don't know who he is, he's the founder of the Renegade University, which is an Internet based training center for attraction marketing specifically for the home based business owner.

Why Am I Sharing This With You?

There has been many conflicting views and opinions on what the best lead generation system on the market. The conversations are good and necessary (as they have also inspired this article) but also confusing. The problem is you may not have a clue on what a good lead generation system is suppose to look like.

So, I'm seeing the ease of set up, how much money you can "potentially" make and the the amount of programs you can promote in as the primary criteria on weather a system is good or not.

Most of the time you're comparing apples and oranges thinking they are all the same.

If you already are a lead generation system owner or promoter and the leads are overwhelming you with emails and phone calls then you can tell just having a system is not enough. The only way that system will have any value is if you can effectively drive targeted traffic and consistently convert them.

The system creators can tweak and split test and perfect the landing pages and back end offers all they want but if you, the system user, aren't the gateway new customers are finding those capture pages then you have nothing.

So What Separates The Wheat From The Chaff?

The leader in front of the system. For the system creator like Mike Klingler that would be him... and for the system user that would be YOU!!

Why?

Because its the only variable factor. You are the only thing that made Jonathan Budd sold (and still sells) WAY more blackbelt recruiting books than you. It's the reason Ferny Ceballos and Ray Fong have been here only a year and are now Instructors on BetterNetworker.

I know what it feels like to struggle.  The best phrase to sum it up if you're in my age group (I'm 36 so I'm Gen X) is to say... "it SUCKS big-time" to continue to fail at business.  Others may describe it as simply discouraging... but that's an understatement.  I had success early in my networking career, but it took me years of struggle before I reached a level of success I was comfortable with.  I struggled to pay the bills and to hang onto my dreams early on.  Back then, in the 90's, I had to invest nearly everything I made to keep enough leads coming in and pay the phone bill.  That's of course no longer the type of challenge you have to face.  But I know what it feels like to be embarrassed to tell friends and family 'you're still doing that thing.'
 
Now there's a new and better way to make 'IT' happen if you're willing to be thorough.
 
Get More Serious.  Focus.   Read and Study.  Apply What You Learn.
 
I hope you take the time to follow through and review the article and steps I've given you today. 
 
Yes, that might take the same focus and effort as reading a full chapter in a book.  That's what it means to be thorough (read, study, and then apply what you have learned).  Regardless of what anyone tells you, you have to be "smart" or get smart to succeed in a business.  It's B.S. to tell you anything different.
 
If you don't feel smart, there IS a solution.  Study.  Do the work.  Be thorough.  Being thorough will make you smart even if you feel your IQ is substandard.  It's actually the easiest path to take even if, in the moment, it feels more difficult. 
 
Isn't that what every mature adult has to learn about all things that are important in life (health, relationships... and now... business).  A higher level of commitment may be all that's missing (in the area of your focus).
 
Treat the business development process much like you would if you were attending a University.  Take it seriously long-term.  This is what it REALLY takes.  Any other approach will cost you lot of money, precious time... and maybe even your dreams altogether.   It's too important so do this right.
