Playing Hookey and Found A Jewel for Bloggers
Group: Better Networker Newbies GuideI'm officially 'playing the nick' at the moment so please don't tell anyone I'm here. :)
But I'm so glad I took this evening off, because I've found a gem for those of you who are into blogging.
It's free and it's easy. (Dean, don't say a word!)
I downloaded it this evening, and 10 minutes later I created this post on my new blog. Yes, I had to write the post, but the image, tags, links were all automatically created by Zemanta.
Result? The post looks much prettier and I didn't have to search all over the Internet to find a related image. In the past, I just haven't used images in my blog posts.
You can also link it to some of your social networking sites, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
There is a 'reblog' option at the bottom of the post, great for getting your content published across the web.
And you can add your Amazon affiliate link (go get one if you don't have one already) so any Amazon recommendations made in your links are credited to you.
This is so easy and while I've used it on my WP blog, the software does support other blogging platforms. go check it out for yourselves. It's definitely worth your while to play hookey for 10 minutes so you can grab this and put it to work.

Too much time and too little to do I see :)
For those of you not ready to install Zemanta but also are looking for pictures, I suggest you sign up at a site like allposters.com
Not only do you get a great range of pictures you can use to add some wow to your blog or website, but if someone else likes the picture and decides to buy it you can make money!
I followed your link to
I followed your link to Zemanta and realized it was on one of my to-do lists from a discovery I made earlier this year. It is still a service I would like to try out -- when I get the chance.
As for Dean's recommendation about allposters.com, I'm a customer there. I had no idea they offered an affiliate program. Thanks!
