Ok, guys...  here's a little rant I went off on as it relates to what not to do on the Better Networker Community site:

What NOT to do on Better Networker...

You can also participate in the forum discussion here, in case you have can offer some results or opinions on the piece.

I hate to talk about the negative, but sometimes it does have to be addressed.  Also know that most people who are using some of these seemingly spammy tactics don't know any better, so don't tear their head off either.

Help them, guide them and show them a thing or two about the proper way to do things around here.  We all make mistakes and sometimes these ambitious, but temporarily ignorant folks may turn out to be a great asset for this community and possibly your team.

Also, by you being the person to help them "see the light", they will be very grateful and become a fan.  That's what this site is all about.  Helping others and developing a following.

We were all newbies once

We were all newbies once upon a time and I'm betting nearly everyone has made a silly mistake or two during the learning process. Good tips, thanks for sharing!

A few tips

I am curious to know which business you are involved in and what type of sales or service experience you have?

The reason I say service is that anyone who has been in a face to face environment dealing with people (bartending, retail sales, real estate, waitressing, even teachers) are at a greater advantage when doing network marketing. Keep in mind that network marketing is a numbers game. Obviously, the more people you talk to the higher chance you have of recruiting people for your business.

Most networkers spend 80% of their time recruiting and the other 20% training. But if you find the right people you could spend as little as 20% of your time recruiting. The trick is finding the right people. Think of it like mining for gold, you are looking for those gold nuggets (networkers who will duplicate). You might feel good recruiting someone into your business, but if they don't do anything than you are back to square one. And you might have wasted hours trying to get them to join your business. That is why you not only need good skills, but also good system that will eliminate you having to chase people to join your business. 2 or 3 motivated soldiers are better than a dozen un-motivated soldiers.

Good Luck!
