Theres Nothing to Be Afraid Of
I find it quite daunting that this industry focuses so much on fear..
If you are being authentic what's to fear?
If people were being encourgaed to just be themselves..
There would be no need to fear.. Fear of the phone, Fear of prospecting, Fear of leadership...
Skype is a great tool I will totally agree with you there!

Hi Etienne,Skype is great -
Hi Etienne,
Skype is great - thirded lol :) it took us a while to get ours sorted but now we think it is the best thing since sliced bread as we used to say when I was young..
JoAnn you're right about the sadness of so much of this business being focussed on fear, I guess the sad truth is that the majority of people starting out are anxious or afraid of some part of their new business though and helping people overcome that is a huge asset / income earner..
It's natural to be anxious or a little afraid when you are new and inexperienced and approaching a new contact that you want to work with you. That's why all the good mentors show you how to develop your own confidence and knowledge before approaching a new contact.
Unfortunately from listening to peoples experiences, it would seem that there are still lots of uplines out there who can't be bothered to invest the time in doing this though - maybe they think "I learned the hard way - why should I babysit my downline" or something along those lines, or maybe they just think that they are able to generate enough new leads that it doesn't matter to them if 97% of those new leads fall by the wayside feeling "burned" and hard done by...
Warm Regards
