Simply put, Leadership is Influence.

Everyone influences someone in their lifetime. There is a study that shows the most introverted person can influence 10,000 other individuals during their lifetime.

We are either influencing or being influenced by others, which means in any given situation, we are leading in some areas, while in other areas we are being led

We all must take responsibility for our own potential as a leader.

In any given situation there is a prominent influencer. For example, a husband and a wife will meet at a restaurant and both are influence by the wait staff who might suggest a specific entree.

Next time you are in any form of group setting ask yourself the following questions to determine who is the true leader in that group:

Who is the one others watch the most when an issue is being discussed?

Who is the one with whom people quickly agree with?
