Hey gang this is from my blog post and I wanted to get your feedback on it. I hope you enjoy.......

What Can “21″ Teach You About Network Marketing On The Internet?

The other night my wife and I saw the movie “21″. It was basically about a young student boy ,Ben Campbell that is extremely intelligent, smart, and great with numbers. Ben goes to M.I.T. in Boston. While he is attending M.I.T. he is trying to transfer to Harvard School of Medicine. The tuition for Harvard is $300,000. Since Ben is from a poor working class background he nor his mom has enough money to pay for his college tuition. He has the desire, he has the smarts, he has the knowledge, but he doesn’t have the money.

That made me think about how many people give up on their dreams because they have the desire, the smarts, and the knowledge, but they don’t have the money. As taught widely in MLM so many people grow up with these big dreams but when you step into the real world your dreams shrink down to the amount of money that you have in your bank account. It also made me think about how many network marketers have the desire to make it big and have book smarts but subconciously have stunted their career growth because of the lack of money. The “rule of thumb” is that you have to have money in order to make money. Consequently your hopes and dreams are fading away faster than you realize.

One evening Ben’s life changes. His math teacher (Micky Rosa) recruits him into a secret club of five students. Micky teaches the five students the skill of card counting at blackjack. Seeing the potential that is there to make more money than he could ever imagine, Micky tells himself that he will only stay in long enough to earn the $300,000 for the Harvard tuition. So he and the other students go on secret weekend trips to Vegas along with Micky with a very detailed plan to win hundreds of thousands of dollars from casino after casino. And that my friends is where the plot unfolds.

There are three quotes that I want to focus on.

#1 “The best thing about Vegas is you can become anyone you want.”
#2 “It is not if its when.”
#3 “We’re following a specific set of rules and a system. Don’t give in to o your emotions.”

Ben was a nerd that was a nobody. He had a dream of getting with the hottest girl on campus who so happens to be one of the five students. She told him line #1 in hopes of luring him into the team. You are probably saying “Adrian what does all this have to do with network marketing on the internet?”

Please be patient…….let’s tackle quote #1.

The internet does allow you to become anyone you want to be. The internet is like money its neither good nor bad. You can use it for education, entertainment, pleasure, or even porn. It’s totally up to you. What I like about the internet is that it allows a regular person like myself to help so many struggling network marketers. My whole goal is to help those in the network marketing industry by leveraging the internet and ditching the traditional methods of prospecting because they are so ineffective in this day and age (THAT’S BEING NICE).

I know the pains of prospecting in the malls or shopping plazas. I know all about the pains of hotel meetings and none of your guests show up. I know all about bugging family and friends to the point of them rejecting your calls (dag on called id hurt my business a lot). I know about crying at night because your notmaking any money. I know about getting behind on rent and leaving in the middle of the night with your family to avoid public eviction. I know about your car being repo’d because you didn’t have the money. I know about the oodles and noodles for lunch and dinner. I know about letting down your spouse and kids. I know about all about REJECTION.

By studying AND copying the gurus like Mike Dillard, Eben Pagan, Ferny Ceballos, Mike Klingler, just to name a few, I no longer have to face rejection. I’ve been introduced to a WHOLE NEW WAY of prospecting. I have become who I want to be in network marketing thanks to the internet. And YOU can too.

Which brings me to quote #2, “It is not if its when.” That is what Micky told Ben. My favorite of all gurus if you don’t know by now is Mike Dillard. He has added the most value to my life. It’s because of Mike that I have been introduced to some of the other top internet gurus. Mike teaches that if you follow what he teaches, its not IF you will be successful in network marketing on the internet, IT’S WHEN.

Not to sound to churchy BUT I am a living witness that this is true. I am literally seeing targeted traffic coming to my many websites and opting in. I am amazed about how many people are really wanting to hear what I have to say on the subject of internet marketing for network marketers. I have people contacting me about my business and what I am doing.

As I am staying dedicated to the system that is in place more and more people are learning who Adrian Hines is and how I can help you. So again, “Its not a matter of IF but WHEN.”

The last quote that I want to focus on is #3, “”We’re following a specific set of rules and a system. Don’t give in to your emotions.”

This again is Micky speaking to Ben. Micky was teaching his five proteges the art and science behind counting cards. He knew that once they started making hundreds of thousands of dollars that emotion would kick in at some point and take over. He knew the high possibility of them forgetting everything they were taught and their judgement being clouded.

What I want to convey to you is this, YOU can not allow your emotions to run your life. A quote that I use personally is that “you can not make life changing decisions based off your emotions.” In network marketing when I was using the traditional methods of prospecting I was ALWAYS on an emotional roller coaster. I was happy when I sponsored people, I was frustrated when I was stood up, I was depressed when I wasn’t making ANY money, I was afraid when prospecting, I was elated when I made money, I was disappointed when someone quit in my organization….I could go on and on.

Do I feel that way anymore, HECK NO. Why you ask? Because I don’t care. When you have prospects seeking YOU out and how YOU can help them, life is better. You don’t have to deal with rejections. You are not on an emotional roller coaster. Just stick to the specific set of rules and system and you will avoid all the emotional peaks and valleys.

I am not going to ruin what happened in the rest of the movie but I hope you take inventory of your thoughts, emotions, and habits. What are you going to do to better yourself. Are you going to allow your dreams to shrink faster than “actual” money in the Federal Reserve Bank (what a joke by the way) or are you going to TAKE ACTION?
