I am seeking advice on how to share the following info online!!! I am not new to the internet, however I am new to this whole internet marketing concept. I really love this site, but I need advice on how to use it. If you have any information that may be of assistance please let me know! Also, if you could recommend other places and people for me to check out that would be great. I appreciate your help and understanding. This is not a pitch!

I am a Herbalife Distributor. I have done other MLM's in the past. Herbalife pays out 30% more than any other MLM out there. It is a NYSE publicly traded 30 year next year old company. It went from 3.5 billion sales 2007 to 4 billion sales 2008. Michael O. Johnson is the CEO. He was with Disney for 17 or 18 years. I have a presentation with the compensation plan and more company facts I can send you email if you'd like a closer look.
I am brand new to this forum. I just stumbled on it by accident actually. I own and operate a nutrition club outside Austin, Tx. I am looking to open 5 in Oregon in the next 3 years. I am interested in attracting people on line to the opportunity however they want to work it. I thought I could find people online to help me understand the best way to do so. You see we can actually recruit people in 70 countries not just here in the US. That is one of the things I found so attractive about this MLM when I began. Many of them won't let you collect residuals from outside the US.
Could you possibly help me learn how to get the word out about my MLM by explaining a little how to use this forum as well as the internet in general to share with others? I am not looking to recruit a mass amount of people, but would love to help anyone who is interested to learn and do what I am doing. It is very exciting to help others and the club concept is relatively new. Since Herbalife pays infinitely downline I will be seeing amazing money in a matter of a few months as it is. We just had training in San Antone and over 25 people came from various countries in Europe to learn how to open and operate nutrition clubs there.
There are currently 30,000 clubs in Mexico so it has beaten the US in sales the past 2 years. That is the first time in the history of our company that any other country has beat us. That is where the nutrition club concept began. In 5 years it went to 0 to 30,000 clubs. We have grown in 1 year in the US from 125 clubs to just around 1000. The main difference is the clubs in Mexico are home and office based. Here we are home, office or commercial based. Each club brings the upline $500-1000 residual income per month from organizational volume at my current level. My level is 5%. Once I reach GET team it will increase an additional 6%. There are actually 6 lines of earning potential available.
I have probably confused you thoroughly by now so I'll let you consider this and contact me if you would like to help me determine the best way to proceed. I appreciate any advice you have on internet marketing and especially your time. I know there are a lot of great opportunities out there; this one just happens to be the one I believe in and love the most.

First I'd like to say - Doyle I'm sure you mean well, but please don't contaminate this group with Mentoring for Free links.
Mentoring for Free is not supposed to be a someplace you "go into" after "coming out of" a company that has unfair P&Ps, etc ... it's not a mlm company. It IS a funnel to a specific company disguised as an "generic" training course.
The path of free mentoring (some of which is indeed life changing information) is unfortunately laced with redderick and brainwashing. The people who are attracted to it are being lied to about being lied to - there IS an agenda and it becomes ugly if you decide to question it.
The exception to this is Richard Dennis. Learn everything you can from him.
That said - welcome Sandra and Doyle both - and yeah Sandra I bet Doyle has some excellent information regarding the "gotchas" with Herbalife. You should call him.
I'm confused about whether these clubs are tied to your Herbalife distributorship or not?
As far as attracting leads online - if you haven't already, you should purchase Magnetic Sponsoring right away - the free videos that come with that optin alone will help you get clear on how creating your own leads online is not only possible, but almost easy with the right tools (and mindset) in hand.
It's great that you have so much experience online already - means your learning curve will be much shorter. Take Mike's info in Magnetic Sponsoring and apply it - you WILL have the new team members you want for Herbalife or any other company you might want to add to your passive income streams.
Holler at me if you want help with any of the stages - that's one thing I did take away from MFF (no wait maybe it was already there - grin) ... I always "Mentor First" :)

I am always suspicious of groups that display cult like behaviour.
Sandra, if you are thinking you will get a lot potential customers from this forum I think you will be dissapointed. Most people here already have their own mlm. The point of this forum is to learn how become a leader that will attract people from the rest of the www and in the world around you.
If you understand that you will be a lot more successful in both endeavours.

You and Vincente are amazing! 130 pounds lost between the two of you! I am curious to know how long it took you!? Looks like your marriage of 5 years is off to a great start. I've been married 7 years now...ain't love grand? My spouse and I did the Body for Life Challenge back in 2002. We entered in the couples category , and came in the top 2000 out of all the 200,000 entries that year.We felt so good that we DID win (if you know what I mean), even though we didn't "win" the $100K grand prize. So, I can identify with your feeling of success with becoming healthy! Again, congratulations!
I have various friends in similar businesses who have a great "success" story regarding their health, and I LOVE THOSE. They are truly powerful. I know that your example is going to influence many people along the way. And we need that. The health issues facing our country, not only personally, but in terms of cost, are huge. Again, many congrats and keep inspiring people.
Notice that you plan to one day retire to the Oregon coast. Isn't it beautiful there? I live in Blaine, WA (also in the Pacific NW), only five minutes from the Canadian border and one mile from the water. So I can fully understand why Oregon pulls you. This gal has come a long way (literally and figuratively). I grew up in LA (Lovely Atlanta).
Each of you gave Sandra some great feedback. Indeed, most of the people here at Better Networker are working to learn how to be better leaders for the team they already have in their primary business. On the other hand, people at Better Networker sometimes run across something that "piques" their interest and they will ask you about your business. You then have a warm lead...otherwise, throwing your biz opp at every person is like throwing spaghetti on the cabinet to see if it's done. It is hit and miss...throw the noddles too early and it slides down the cabinet. Throw it too late and it will stick to the cabinet and you may never get it off. The point is, "Timing is everything!" Look, listen, participate and your opportunity will reveal itself as people are attracted to you as a leader. "Selling your product or offering your biz opp" will be the byproduct of that. I have some techniques I use to help others get those connections they need, and my primary business is never mentioned. Why? Because they are not looking for my product and biz opp. They are looking for something that will help grow THEIR business. Keep that in mind.
Ok...for a specific tip? Well, think about it this way. What do you do when you go to a party? Do you walk up and start talking about yourself the whole time, or do you have an exchange? Do you ask questions and find out more about "them?" There is an old saying that if you go to a party and simply ask questions and let people talk, they will tell the hostess afterwards that you were the most delightful person at the party! So, perhaps a good place to start would be to go check out the profile of every single person who has taken their time to offer you some feedback on this thread. Take the time to learn something about them, and engage with them about what you learned. Ok, Sandra, that's your "homework" for this week-end! :)
