Send us a worthy one Lord!

Why is it that you have to give up half of your Godly beliefs to vote for either one?  Isn't there anyone that believes The Bible for everything?  Either you save the unborn and starve them afterwards or you keep your gun rights and lose your job.  Why can't the greatest country in the world have just one candidate that truly represents the moral majority of America?  But I guess since it wasn't built on the Foundation of Christ as has been taught to us, we can't expect anything other than the behind the scenes deals and plots to bring the New World Order to light.  One Godless, or Jesus-less, government for all.  I'm out, I refuse to vote for anyone that doesn't represent my beliefs, helping the poor, retaining our rights and privileges to own our firearms to protect our homes and families, saving the unborn and giving their parents the ability to feed them after they are born, allowing God back in society (since He is the only one that is not accepted today) and teaching our children to hug instead of hurt each other without poisoning their minds to believe that anything we choose to do is okay no matter how immoral it is.  Just send me someone that believes like that, like God teaches us to, and maybe, if he doesn't cheat on his wife or refuse to salute the flag while ignoring the national anthem, I might vote again! Worthy or not.......

I think first of all, God would say “I love them all, and I love you, too.
These are my children- the substance of my own making, and their value is greater than they or you would ever understand.”
Then I think God would say that their value is so incredible that He left His throne in heaven to redeem them- and you- and that when they receive that redemption they have the right to call Him Daddy.”
God has written all His instructions down already. It’s all there. The Word tells us exactly what we must do to live a life that is worthwhile and pleasing to God. He tells us the key: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and spirit, and love your neighbor as yourself.”
He also tells us that we are saved by His Grace, through our Faith in Him. But Faith is an action based on a belief: If we believe, we will act upon that belief;
That is faith. We need to keep our eyes on Him and know He is in control.

The story of Daniel

Daniel, Shadrack, Meshach, & Abendego all chose not to worship anything other than God. I say this because someone posted a comment about Obama not saluting to the American Flag. Regardless of who you are--times over God has explained to man that he didn't want us worshipping anyone other than Him. So if I salute to a flag, I'm pledging allegiance. If we worship God, then how can we pledge allegiance to a flag that is man-made & that is an idol. God knows my heart & I speak upon what He tells me.

Our Flag, Our Bible

Well said Tiffany, I agree that we don't worship any image, I don't ask anyone to do that for it would be blasphemous. I just can't vote for someone that is supposed to honor our country, and all it stands for including our flag, and protect our servicemen that refuses to honor that very flag, the anthem that tells of the sacrifice of those who died, and in turn, those who actually died to save our freedom. I realize we are in a free country and have no right to expect anyone here to follow our traditions, but we don't have to vote them president either. I have talked to several diehard Democrats, of which I am one, and all of them hang their heads when I mention the Obama flag disrespect. There is no defense for someone to turn their back on the flag and lead our country anymore than someone claiming to be a Christian and refusing to honor The Bible in church or their life. The flag and The Bible are man-made symbols created to represent our country and our God, respectively. The flag for the blood spilled for our freedoms and The Bible for our God and His Son's blood spilled, respectively. I only ask for true Christians and Americans to respect both if they claim to be both. God Bless us all. Remember the most popular sight right after 9/11? People flying the flag! How many do you see today? People also went to church then that hadn't been for a very long time. Are they still attending? Not by the stats I have read. So we seemingly lost our need for God and respect for the flag. Maybe they go hand-in-hand. One thing for sure, we will find out if Mr. Obama wins in November.

Flags, Bibles...

I agree with you. God did say that if we set something aside as being Holy then it is. There are many times over & over in our history as God's children that you will notice the people placing items aside as being Holy. Since these items were Holy to them, they were Holy to God. God allows us to do this because it's what a Father is to His child..cool. God loves His children so tenderly. It's the same way with our kid's, if they have a special toy that they set aside, wouldn't we also pay special care to that toy as well?

Either way- when it comes to going to Church, Jesus is the Church, therefore we, as the Children of God, having Christ within us have Church by ourselves (thus where two or more are together, Jesus said that "I am in the mist of them." For one, we have God & the Holy Spirit, then Jesus is in the midst); we can have Church with others, etc, etc...

Jesus spent lots of time in the temples & the courts speaking to the Pharisees & Saducees, for they were constantly trying to trap Him up in words. But time & time again they walked away from the crowd because they couldn't face Him. But if we will notice, everywhere that Jesus went not one second of time was wasted. He spent His life on preparing us for eternal life. From town to town He went preaching, "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near." The apostles preached on that same foundation but also added that they must "Save themselves from this wicked & perverse generation.

Jesus searched & searched for that one lost sheep. He will never leave without him. If Jesus is within us, the same process is taking place. I've enjoyed talking with you guys. It's so nice to network with other believers. Stay strong & Jesus bless!! 8~}}

The other side is not much better.

As a side note, John McCain has been quoted as saying he didn't love his country, or understand how important his freedom was, until he was held prisoner. This has been attacked the same way as Obama's disrespect for the flag. However, McCain's comment was of a young man's point of view changing to a mature hard-lesson-learned point of view. Obama has learned most of the lesson's he wants to learn. I also need to clarify that The Bible I referred to being man made is the physical Bible I hold in my hand, not The Word of God inside. Inspired, authored and blessed by Him but printed, translated, and bound with leather by man.

P.S. This forum is like a safe haven from the business world that will bury you for your faith. Thanks to all who support free speech about our Lord as well as everything else.
