Mainly, I wanted to greet everyone and introduce myself. I am very new to GDI, MLM and BN. I own my own video production business, but this network marketing on the Internet is its own animal, that's for sure. I have been preparing to launch for three weeks now, studying hard and speaking frequently with my mentors, while looking at a number of products to help me with executing my campaign. (Friends and family were mostly a bust.)
It is a long story how I found GDI, but it didn't take me long to see that this venture is unique amongst the other things I have been seeing out there. I have caught the vision.
Anyhow, I am somewhat confused. There are so many ways to try to get leads, but limited funds are posing a big problem for me right now. Also, I have read everywhere that people are building their own email lists, (some sound like they are doing it for free,) but no one comes right out and says how. I've designed a decent capture page, now I need to get it spread around to the right audiences and for little investment. (A tall order, huh?)
Lastly, I know that there are safelists, leads for purchase, and other tools. I am very familiar with PPC and I understand the concepts behind the blogging, forums, etc. What I don't understand is how you actually put a safelist into play, and how this differs from purchasing leads and uploading them into an autoresponder. Also, will any autoresponder upload any company's leads? HELP!
If anyone has a few minutes to write back, I would welcome your assistance. I want to get going on this. I'm pumped.

Welcome to BN and GDI.
Most companies won't let you put other lists into their autoresponders but I know that there is one company who lets you import your own list into their auto responder. Unfortunately I don't know the name of it right now but could find it out if you're interested.

How are you doing? Good to see you are concerned about your financial future. I'm going to say keep studying and learning as much as you can. That's what I'm doing since I've been with GDI.
I remember Mike Dillard saying never buy leads. But, we are all entitled to our own methods of marketing. One way I am building a list is in my facebook group. I can message the whole group at once which is good since I have no auto responder or marketing system yet.
I learned PPC is good with a marketing system. So you would know what is best for you I guess. I hopeyou continue to learn and do well. Holler if you need anything else.
