(Beginner) Question about adwords worldwide

Here is a question that I have, and perhaps others may as well:

Using Adwords, how does one specifically place an ad in another country, for example, Mexico? Can one do this with an existing ad, and just change the country it is showing in, or does one have to start a new campaign and set the country at that point?

This is a great group!

Campaign Settings

Hi James,

You would have to go into "Campaign Settings" and change your location. The change would apply to the entire campaign so odds are, you'll want a separate campaign.

I have 8 different English speaking countries in my locations group for my campaigns. I don't bother splitting these campaigns since the ads are all the same (they are all English). However, if I were really serious about any of them, I'd split them up and split-test them since each nation might perform differently from others depending on the variables.

Does this help?

James, Along the same

James,

Along the same note.....I have found that if you split advertising in the US vs. other English speaking countries, you will find that Cost Per Click in the US is very different than in other countries.  I have done this at times and found some interesting results.
