Success is about continuous learning.

Vince Lombardi once said ‘the quality of one’s life is directly related to the degree of excellence he/she achieves in their field of endeavor.’

Excellence can only come from studying and consistently applying what you learn.

Experts have studies that show that most people waste 10 years or more in a trial and error or learn from their own experiences mode. It doesn’t have to be this way.

Everyone deserves a better life. A chance to learn, grow and achieve more.

Most people today are caught up in this so called ‘economic downturn’. And to make matters worse they’ve stop learning. They are now weak in the essential skills, the practical skills not taught in formal education.

There really are only two choices

Rely on our current skills and try to work harder than everyone else

OR

Do what the best athletes, executives, sales professionals and the top 20% know and do. Brian Tracy said “The greatest success principle in history is Learn from the experts, you’ll never live long enough to learn it all yourself”.

Learn from the experts

Keith

Great post! We all need to be reminded to continue learning from the experts - specifically, we need to teach this to others. Why repeat the same failing techniques that didn't work in the past? Why struggle so hard to reinvent the wheel? And we must be sure to complete both of the activities here: "Excellence can only come from studying and consistently applying what you learn." It's not so hard to study, but if we don't apply what we learn, it will all have been in vain. Build the foundation out of solid stone and keep applying those bricks, but don't forget the mortor or the house will fall down.

Thanks for contributing!
